Who do you think will run for President in 2016?
|
Hard to believe another Presidential election isn't THAT far off. Maybe by then the Jags will be a competitive team.
Anyway, who do you think will be the nominee for each party? And who are you hoping for? Some Common names being talked about: Republicans: Michelle Bachmann John R. Bolton Jeb Bush Herman Cain Ben Carson Cris Christie Ted Cruz Lindsey Graham Mike Huckabee Bobby Jindal Peter T. King George Pataki Rand Paul Mike Pence Rick Perry Rob Portman Marco Rubio Paul Ryan Donald Trump Mitch Daniels Scott Walker Bob Corker Carly Fiorina Bob Ehrlich Jon Kasich Sarah Palin Allen West Democrats: Joe Biden Jerry Brown Hillary Clinton Howard Dean Joe Manchin Marin O'Malley Bernie Sanders Brian Schweitzer Jim Webb Steve Bullock Andrew Cuomo Rahm Emmanuel Russ Feingold Al Gore Maggie Hassan John Hickenlooper Amy Klobuchar William McRaven Janet Napalitano Jay Nixon Kathleen Sebellius Anthony Villagarosa Mark Warner I think it'll end up being Paul Ryan vs Hillary Clinton.

It's like the menu at a Scottish restaurant; not much in it and nothing you actually want.
I think it ends up Rick Perry vs Elizabeth Warren
I'll fight tooth and nail to help Rand get the nomination but I don't think it happens in the long run. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
I'm certainly hoping for Ted Cruz to be the Republican Nominee and next President.
Unfortunately, I think Jeb Bush or some other RINO will be the Republican Nominee. As for the Democrats, I currently give Hillary Clinton the slight edge over Elizabeth Warren as their choice as Nominee.
Wasn't Jeb Bush part of the effort that put a bid in for Jacksonville getting a team or something? I seem to remember him having something to do with the Jags.
Oddly enough Hillary will only be 3 years younger than McCain was if she gets the nomination. Will we hear people say she's too old?

I believe Jeb Bush was a minority owner of the Jaguars at one time. Regarding Hillary, she's had significant health issues. It's something she probably have to deal with in the 2016 campaign if she elects to run for President.
Fun fact:
If either Jeb Bush or Hilary Clinton win the nomination it will mark the 6th time the two families have held office. Think about it since 1989 3 families will have held office for a consecutive 30+ years if the Clinton's or Bush's win the office. Just seems like to much power for to few people to me. As far as the socialists go, I wouldn't be surprised if Warren got the nod because she is more radical than even Clinton.
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Quote:Those libs, errrrr socialists like them some radicals, thats for sure.I almost miss the days where we had Clinton. He may have been annoying, and below average in his performance, but he never flat out trashed this country like these freaks are doing today. The day WILL come when that comes back and bites them in their collective behinds. You cannot sustain such lunacy long term.

Good Lord, D6.....don't even bring up that possibility. :pinch: Quote:It wouldn't even surprise me if Michelle Obama eventually runs for President and even worse is elected President.Given the propensity of the liberals to gravitate toward disbarred lawyers, that would not surprise me. But seriously, how stupid can even a liberal get?

Quote:Cruz is the closest thing to a decent candidate that would actually try to undo most of the damage done by the socialists. It's going to be difficult for anyone to undo the damage by the socialists. But at least with Ted Cruz, there's hope. The Republican Establishment, the Democrats, and the media are going to do everything in their power to undermine Cruz if he runs for President. That would reinforce to me that Cruz is an excellent person to elect as President. There's definitely going to be major support for Elizabeth Warren from socialists. The only reason at this time I give Hillary Clinton the edge is she has more name recognition and will probably have the support of the majority of the Democrat Establishment. But with Hillary's baggage, she's vulnerable if another candidate is willing to speak the truth about her history. Quote:Given the propensity of the liberals to gravitate toward disbarred lawyers, that would not surprise me. But seriously, how stupid can even a liberal get? Considering that they set the stage for Michelle Obama's husband to occupy the oval office, I'm expecting a concerted effort from the left and their media allies to eventually get Michelle Obama elected President. The sad part of this is the Republicans probably won't put up a candidate that would be willing to fight back if Michelle Obama was the nominee. Quote:It's like the menu at a Scottish restaurant; not much in it and nothing you actually want. No such thing. Maybe you mean a chippie. Get the fish n chips with curry sauce on the chips. Deep fried mars bar for dessert. Wash it down with an irn bru. Quote:It wouldn't even surprise me if Michelle Obama eventually runs for President and even worse is elected President. Man, you guys are really paranoid. |
