I think Blake does a good job in knowing when to slide.

A QB must be smart about not taking too many unnecessary hits. Blake's best ability needs to be avail-ability so if he can pick his spots to avoid the extra hit, he should. Take the smart play and live for another day...

I suppose the lesson here is that one or two star players does not a team make.

But that's really only news to those who thought Bortles was going to help the defense tackle, turn over the football, and get themselves off the field more often.

He's night and day compared to Henne, but QB was just one of many shortcomings of the team.

We were never a playoff team missing it's QB. We were a bad team without a QB. Now we're a bad team with a QB. Players, not plays. We just don't have enough good ones... ...yet.

Jaguar fans think Andrew Luck is a mediocre QB. The guy is clearly elite. But because he's the enemy people here will claim he's just not that good. Luck carries that team. Something we can only hope that Borltes will be able to do. By the looks of it were still a ways off.

I think Robinson will evolve into that type. He's a green 20 year old rookie right now. Do you realize how young that is for an NFL player?? Most rookies are 22/23

Exactly. The only thing that I would change is that we are a young and inexperienced team with a QB. As the young players learn and develop, they will become good. Sprinkle in a few more experienced players in free agency and the improvement will be dramatic.

I've seen some stupid garbage posted on this forum, but this thread has to be the most stupid.

Bortles is already the best player on the team and it's not even close. Everyone else is a problem, Bortles is the closest thing the Jaguars have to a solution.

Way to keep it alive: By the way will see if Borltes can work on those mechanics and have a game without an INT. Maybe just maybe that could be the difference between keeping a game close and winning.
