Draft
|
I think people need to get it out of their heads that we'll somehow get a Julio/Griffin III-type haul for our pick. Honestly, I'd be shocked if someone traded up after how this past draft went down. Teams seem more willing to stay pat and wait instead of panicking and moving up.

People setting themselves up for disappointment. Quote:I think people need to get it out of their heads that we'll somehow get a Julio/Griffin III-type haul for our pick. So who's going to do it? Every team that has a huge question mark at QB wouldn't be able to afford moving up because it'd destroy their ability to add quality depth. I don't see any team taking that risk now when they wouldn't last year when the QB talent was much better at the top and a lot of those teams passed on them after we grabbed Blake.

Because they just let the board fall where it may. Teams seem to be getting a bit more gun-shy about blowing a decent amount of assets for one player. We'll probably see the same thing next year since none of the ones in the '15 class look top 10-worthy(admittedly haven't seen enough of Petty to give an opinion on yet).

Here is how the top 5 shakes up in my opinion.
1. *Trade* Tampa Bay Buccs (4-12) - Marcus Mariota QB 2. Tennessee Titans (3-13) - Leonard Williams DT 3. Oakland Raiders (1-15) - Cedric Ogbhuei OT 4. Washington Redskins (4-12) - Landon Collins S 5. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-11) - Randy Gregory OLB
Quote:Here is how the top 5 shakes up in my opinion.that would be nice but are the Raiders and Redskins that dumb to pass on Gregory? oh wait
Quote:We're doing this LB in the top 5 thing again? Gregory wouldn't be playing OLB here. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Andrus Peat? Gotta figure out if joeckel can figure things out. I wonder why he has regressed so much.
