Who is Andrew Luck?

Quote:Charlie Casserly (the guy who drafted David Carr #1 overall).

Bill Bellicheck on Casserly:

“Who’s been wrong more than Charley Casserly since he left the Redskins? His percentage is like a meteorologist."

"He has no relationship to this team. I’d say less than zero. Based on what? He’s never at a practice, never at a game.”

That is a 3 time Super Bowl winning head coach saying that. Who are we to call a 3 time Super Bowl winning head coach wrong? O_O.

Ahhhahahahaahajajajahahhahaahahhahahahahahahahajahahahahahahahahhahahhajajahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahaha wow. I wish I knew that so much earlier.

Exindysouthsider should just stop posting here now.

He also called Blake the best player in last years draft. Guess he is crazy huh?

Funny Bill went off and said that, but Brady did play with broken ribs as we now know! So Bill lied.

Nope, not crazy. Just proof that even "Super Bowl winning GMs" can be wrong too, so stating their opinion as if it's fact is stupid.

What is stupid is pulling up a blatant lie as counter evidence.

Never mind... I see you're still a child.

"I'd take at least 12 NFL quarterbacks over Wilson." - Charlie Casserly (July 1st, 2014)

"Barkley is better than Ryan Tannehill." - Charlie Casserly

Here’s a complete list of QBs Casserly drafted as a GM:

1990: Gary Conklin- 4th Round, Washington

1992: Chris Hakel- 4th Round, William&Mary

1994: Heath Shuler- 3rd Overall, Tennessee

1994: Gus Frerotte, 7th Round, Tulsa

2002: David Carr- 1st Overall, Fresno State

2003: Dave Ragone- 3rd Round, Louisville

2003: Drew Henson- 6th Round, Michigan

2004: B.J. Symons- 7th Round, Texas Tech

Sit down, rookie.

Yeah what is this supposed to prove? 6th and 7th rounders are camp arms with a few noted exceptions. 4ths are backups mostly. But I haven't seen him claim they are the best young prospect in 40 years either.

Got any others kid?

So answer the question, then. Do you think Andrew Luck is the best QB of the past 40 years?

What the hell are you talking about? I've never been asked this question.

No, I don't think that. No, I've never said that.

Stop grouping me in with other people.

Two top 3 QB pick busts, and nothing to show for three mid-round picks. It's save to say that Charley Casserly doesn't bat 1.000 when evaluating QBs. If Casserly overvalued guys like Carr and Shuler, how do you know he isn't over-valuing Luck?

Yes, you were asked the question last night.

Quote:How do you feel about the other Colts fan in here pimping the notion that Andrew Luck is the best QB in the past 40 years?

Then, you came on and responded to a later post, ignoring (or not seeing) my question.

Anyways, why don't you question the Indianapolis poster for making those statements? You have no problem outing Jaguar fans when they make stupid comments, so why does this guy get a pass?

While calling him the best young QB would be over the top. It is nice to see the articles about Andrew and how the league views him and Charlie isn't the only one singing his praise.

I posted an article an instead of addressing the article you attacked the poster, and not the substance of the article, which was clearly on topic to the original post.

You are such an immature child.

Guess what? Where we think Andrew ranks doesn't matter. I will say this as my opinion. If I needed a win in a pressure situation such as a playoff game, I will take Luck over Manning any day!

The Russell Wilson one is all you need. Clearly the Superbowl winning gm doesn't always get it right so his word isn't gospel, but you keep hanging on.

Hilarious. Just hilarious. I laughed out loud.

Wilson wasn't a low round pick. And even if they held the draft over he still wouldn't be picked over Andrew.

You would take Luck over Manning any day because you already know how Manning plays in a playoff game pressure situation. You've seen it nearly 2 dozen times. As great a regular season QB as Manning has been, easily one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest, it still amazes me that he has only won 1 SB.

You don't really know how Luck will play in a playoff pressure situation yet, so it's really an unknown with him. He did lead the big comback against KC, when they collapsed so he has that going for him. You can only hope that he doesn't end up being P. Manning average in playoff pressure games. The jury is still out on him though.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

You are right. But from the limited sample size, Luck plays better under pressure. Big leads an the team seems to lose the edge and allows the opponent to creep back in.

12 QBs in front of him....... That casserly is always right. Nothing he says is ever erroneous. Wilson is clearly the 12th best QB from that draft class.

Right now I picture you flopping around like a fish out of water.

I cannot be flopping around, because I have no idea what you are talking about. What's Casserly got to do with Wilson?

Casserly apparently said he would take at least 13 qbs ahead of Wilson.

Lol. I at least took time to provide a link. Lazy

Found it. And it wasn't 12th in draft class, but NFL. Where do you have Wilson? I see him at 10.

Hailtoyourvictor quoted him saying that he would take 12 guys ahead of him in the draft.

I think he misinterpreted that article. It was 12overall in league this year.
