Let's turn Everbank into a tough environment for the Dolphins to play on Sunday

I don't. Andrew luck is in your division for the next 10 years , you're screwed. Brady is done in a couple of years, our owner spends money.

Quote:Lol ya.. I'm not going to listen to the dozens of articles or the logical financial windfall from a team at the bottom of the value tier in the nfl moving to one of the biggest cities in the world. I'd much rather listen to some yokel (you ) who says "it won't happen", with no evidence to back it up.
you have no clue about anything you are talking about, stop making yourself look like a moron.

It means a lot you would care how I "look" on your message board. But please [BLEEP]

When you see our stadium on Sunday you wil talk about how our owner spent millions of dollars on it. Did you think the world's largest scoreboards were free?

Yeah, I moved to Fernandina for 2 years and had season tickets for the 2007 season of magic.  I've been hooked since.  Plus my mother still lives there and I visit every year.  So I'm pretty much now a die hard Jaguars fan.

And to be honest, I happy being a Jaguars fan.  I feel more of a connection to the city of Jacksonville than I do to Miami.  And again, the franchise seems to be doing a much better job of things lately than the Dolphins have.

Quote:Also, you are forgetting about values. It's real easy for your owner to put a couple hundred mil in the stadium for the time being (it could take a decade to get to London. However , a move to London would double the franchise value overnight. Meaning almost a billion dollars of cash infusion for any partners that would want to buy in. It's a smart move

Dude....it sounds to me that you desperately want Jacksonville to lose their team. NO city deserves such a thing, even Arizona (who I can't STAND).

It is NOT easy to just put a couple hundred mil into a stadium. Smart businessmen don't spend money that way. I already mentioned that Khan has major plans for the stadium. If a owner is eying a move someplace else, they spend LITTLE TO NO MONEY on the stadium, let alone the local businesses. They also make unreasonable demands during stadium/arena negotiations (the Seattle Sonics relocation is a perfect example of this). Khan has done NEITHER of these things.

Here I am trying to help you but you just can't man up.

On one hand you have already hit rock bottom on the "lol jags moving to london" routine. Admitting you don't know what you are talking about would make you actually seem like you have at least 2 functioning brain cells. But that would mean you have to admit you have no clue what you were talking about and thus lost the argument.

Man up and admit it, or keep trying to save face at the expense of looking like a moron. Which one will he choose. Smile

There is no reason for you to get upset.

Spending money in free agency doesn't build super bowl champs - just ask the Raiders.

The Dolphins should be building through the draft - something they've haven't done a bad job at (Tannehill is one example).

I'm a 4th generation Floridian, I am not interested nor do I take pleasure in people losing their jobs or livelihood. As I've said, I'm just stating what is out there. Not because I want to see it happen. I can't stand the nfl front office, but I do know they are all about money.

I'm  not worried.  The c'lots franchise had their heads up their butts.  Luck is not Peyton Manning or even Tom Brady.

Also, spending money doesn't make a dynastic team.  If it did the Redskins and Raiders would be the cream of the crop.

The Dolphins have no idea what they are doing as a franchise anymore.  You're defense is good, but your core personell are getting older, and your QB is shakey at best.

Our QB on the otherhand has the opportunity to be great and hasn't been questioned to the point Tennehill has.  You're coaching staff can't even control your O-Linemen, for crying out loud.

You guys are a dumpster fire.  We are not.

Bortles?? Lol. Take it from a UCF alum who has seen Blake plenty of times. He doesn't have it. You will do the same thing you did with Blaine gabertt, waste 3 years to realize he sucks. Which core, of our team is old? Brent grimes and wake are vets. Other than that, we have youth and depth at oline, dline, rb, wr, TE and linebacker. I don't think I can name 5 players on the jags, you guys are irrelevant.

Lol at acting like Blake puts you guys on a better path than luck does the colts

Woah, there....

Tannehill is not that bad at all. He's looked quite good. His head coach is just an idiot. Philbin shouldn't have brought his starting status into question the way he did.

The Dolphins could use some stability at RB, but that may simply come with experience. They should draft a WR in the 1st to help Tannehill out (or a top TE).

Getting more linemen never hurts, regardless of team. Can't do jack squat without one.

Quote:Understood....I believe that is a very small amount. Wkmg's own produce has said the demand in Orlando for dolphins far outweighs the jags.
I live in Orlando and I am not alone in saying that I am infuriated when the Jags play home games because I know it means the station manager won't show the Jags games. Speak for yourself.
We are Jaguars.

Philbin is terrible. They finally wised up and started using tannehill correctly last week. Moving him out of the pocket, He is one of those rare players that plays better out of the pocket. Btw. Guaranteed we are going to try and do a read option on a 4th and inches when we should just qb sneak.

Yeah, sorry. Not buying you being a UCF alum.  In fact I'm not buying you having been to college at all.  I'm betting jobless high school drop out.

Depth at WR?  Who's your depth at WR?  Brian Hartline?  LOL

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

That's cute. You're acting out because I disagree with you. It's better than you beating your wife I guess. At least until the natural light runs out.

You lost credibility the second you compared Bortles to Gabbert. The experts had questions about Blaine Gabbert and HIGHLY recommended that he sit for a least a year for him to even become a solid QB. No body pegged him as a franchise player outside of a few crazy Jags fans.

Bortles, on the other hand, is billed by many experts as a franchise QB with top 10 potential. From what I understand, his mechanics have already been re-tooled for the NFL and he has looked very good for a rookie so far.

Every player coming out of college has a least a few "fans" that claim the guy is nothing special. You are no different. You're not a professional scout, so just stop already.

You can't name 5 Jags players because they have an extremely young squad. It takes time to build a winner through the draft, but the teams that do usually end up with constant playoff appearances at the very least.

Disagreeing is fine (at least for me). Joking about someone being a wife-beater is not.

Projection: When a person has uncomfortable thoughts or feelings, they may project these onto other people, assigning the thoughts or feelings that they need to repress to a convenient alternative target.

Bortles barely beat out Jeff Godfrey (who wasn't even a qb), until Godfrey quit the team. Nobody knew about bortles until the middle of the season last year. UCF could of easily lost 3 or 4 games last year if it wasn't for a little bit of luck. I'm not saying he's a bust, but he's not a "can't miss" prospect like Payton or Luck are/were. For the record, I have my doubts on tannehill too. I think Marcus Mariota is gonna be REAL good and would like us to draft him if we falter. Jmo
