You realise peyton manning and tom Brady wasn't as good when they first started right? You need patience with them..

Which if you had went through my posts like I suggested, you would have seen one a few posts ago saying that I'd be ok waiting until the end of next year to see where Blake is at. I realize they don't turn into a pro bowler overnight, but I don't feel we have the coaching to coach him through his mistakes and turn him into the next Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers.

Quote:Wouldn't call scrambling up away from a blitz a "clean pocket" but ok.
Just because it was a blitz doesnt mean it can't be picked up which it was and I don't even know if it even was a blitz. Believe what you want to though.

I'm not arguing it was a terrible decision. Just saying it wasn't a clean pocket is all

My only issue with Blake is in the Redzone. He can't turn the ball over.

You know, all these people complaining, wanting Henne, or Gabbert, or Manuel... I almost hope they get what they want. I'm sure Buffalo would love to trade Bortles for Manuel straight up. 49ers would take the trade Bortles for Gabbert too I'm sure. And then I could be done with this team. Everyone wants the other guy. At least Gabbert doesn't make mistakes. They'd much rather have the Mularkey style of coaching to not make mistakes, and not taking any chances. Take the hit! Usually curled up in the fetal position. Don't convert those third downs! That's silly. Who wants to convert third downs?

I almost hope Bradley gives fans what they want. Let Henne start again. He won't make these mistakes. He'll take more sacks, he'll convert far fewer third downs, but at least he won't throw that many interceptions and almost interceptions. It's what this fanbase deserves. Because Henne is a proven winner. That's why we started the year out 2-0. Not sure why we ever went with Blake as the starter in the first place with how great Henne has been. It's too bad this coaching staff decided to play the rookie, because he's making rookie mistakes.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Jesus christ, you say I condradict myself, then applaud a post in which someone is pro Gabbert... dude I don't get you, and it's probably not my place to, but good god, you're all over the place. I'm going to have to ignore you, as I don't have the energy to feed more trolls.

He needs to learn to not force what isn't there. But our receivers aren't exactly getting wide open, All Hurns catches were 50/50 balls, when your surrounding cast isn't great you have to take chances

And all I'm saying is he wasnt under pressure from nobody. And in no way did that pass look like it was supposed to go out the back of the endzone as a throw away. Just a lie and a bad decision. Real bad.

We had this game.

We have the better personell in most aspects.

We lost this game because of lack of coaching and lack of a good QB.

Our D is money. We have a very good RB. We have darn good WRs.

We have bad playcalling on the offense

We have horrible coaching on special teams...

But with that all, we still had a chance to win this game.

We're chumps if we don't think we're already ready do win NOW.

We're not rebuilding anymore, We've been built.

It's poor coaching and poor QB play that is holding this team back

What is Bortles doing better now than he was in pre season? I honestly dont see any improvement at all. His decision making is a really big problem. I dont see how you can coach better decision making.

Again I ask. Why is Derek Carr not making as many mistakes and bad decisions? He's a rookie with no talent and no running game. Surely he's in exactly the same situation as Bortles.

Would we have been better drafting Watkins and Carr, rather than Bortles and a totally anonymous Lee.

BB5 is the same he's been since week 4. He hasn't progressed.

Maybe he will...

But nobody can say he's done anything special from week 8 that he didn't do in week 4

You keep saying the D is good but once again 31 points 423 total yards with 191 to a rookie RB is far from a good day on defense.

No, he's not in the same situation as Bortles.

Did I miss some big continent of posts asking for Henne or (lol) Gabbert? Or is the argument that Blake isn't playing poorly, or perhaps that our other past flop QBs excuse it?
