Quote:Big Fumble recovery for the Giants. As long as it stands, this might be enough to put the Vikings away. Are you referring to the ground causing a fumble? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote: After what transpired at MetLife Stadium last night, the Vikings are clearly much more of a candidate to get a top 3 pick than the Giants. That's a team in which the parts have become much greater than the sum. Only as long as Josh Freeman is the starter. I bet if Christian Ponder played instead, he would have scored a touchdown. Quote:Only as long as Josh Freeman is the starter. I bet if Christian Ponder played instead, he would have scored a touchdown. Christian Ponder would have given the Vikings a better chance of winning this game. At this point in time, Josh Freeman is too limited in his knowledge of the Vikings Offense and doesn't have close to the needed timing with the team's skill players. It's possible the Vikings will go back to Ponder. However, after they casted him aside for two other QB's in recent weeks, the chances of Ponder being viewed again as the long term solution within their organization look slim.
I will call Leslie Frazier an idiot if he starts Freeman against the Packers next week.
Buccaneers have saints last game of the year. Saints will be qualified for the playoffs by then..if they have any sense they'll lose to the buccs so they don't have to face teddy for the next 10-15 years.
Joking ofcourse but the buccs may win this game.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

If they have any sense they'll lose to the Bucs so they don't have to face Teddy for the next 10-15 years. What about the other Saints/Buccaneers game? That will count too, of course. The fact that the Falcons could beat Tampa Bay without either of their bestc two wide receivers makes me think there is zero chance of a last-day upset. But then again during their Super Bowl year, the Saints lost to Carolina without Drew Brees . . .

It seems like quarterbacks in general haven't been very good this year. A lot of teams are going to be looking for one this upcoming draft.
Quote:It seems like quarterbacks in general haven't been very good this year. A lot of teams are going to be looking for one this upcoming draft. Quarterbacks not named Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Alex Smith, Russell Wilson . . . Need I name more? Robert Griffin is struggling this year because he is still recovering from two knee ligament tears that kept him out of all four preseason games.
Quote:Quarterbacks not named Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Alex Smith, Russell Wilson . . . Need I name more? Tom Brady has been struggling, Alex Smith has been a game manager, Russel Wilson/RGIII aren't having as good of years as last. Matt Ryan can't win games. Andrew Luck has been good but has average numbers. And I'll name more for you: Ben Roethlisburger, Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub, Colin Kaepernick, Carson Palmer, Sam Bradford, Nick Foles/Michael Vick, Brandon Weeden, Christian Ponder, Terrell Pryor, Chad Henne, Blaine Gabbert, EJ Manuel, Josh Freeman Cam Newton's playing pretty average Quarterbacks haven't been that good this year so far, at least that's how it appears to me. Quote:Tom Brady has been struggling, Alex Smith has been a game manager, Russel Wilson/RGIII aren't having as good of years as last. Actually Tom Brady is still doing good, even if his numbers are down. Remember Rob Gronkowski was out the first six weeks and Aaron Hernandez is gone forever. In Atlanta, Julio Jones was put on IR. "Can't win games" means nothing when the whole team sucks. The Falcons are just having a bad year in general. Jon Gruden explained before kickoff last night not all 17 interceptions are Eli Manning's fault, saying, ". . . but his teammates are not helping him."
Quote:Looks like the Bucs will get Bridgewater after all. Maybe not. Ian Rapoport said there is no guarantee Greg Schiano will still be the coach at the end of the regular season. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000...aneers-job

Quote:Man, I'm sick of them trying to copy us. How are they trying to copy us? Their #1 problem is obviously the head coach, not the quarterback.
Quote:How are they trying to copy us? Their #1 problem is obviously the head coach, not the quarterback. We been doing this since when? Last year? They tryin to act like they just invented this style of play. BOOOOOOOOO! smh. Quote:It seems like quarterbacks in general haven't been very good this year. A lot of teams are going to be looking for one this upcoming draft. One of the most interesting QB situations is with the Bears. Jay Cutler is injured again and is out at least 4 weeks. Will the Bears attempt to re-sign Cutler, who is scheduled to be an UFA in 2014? Do they place the Franchise Tag on Cutler with the purpose of trying to trade Cutler, knowing that like you mentioned, many teams need a starting QB? Being that the current regime didn't trade for Cutler, it wouldn't surprise me if the Bears go in another direction. A concern of mine as a Lions fan is the realistic possibility that a team will attempt to sign Shaun Hill, who is scheduled to be an UFA in 2014. Hill is the ideal # 2 QB but a team might view him as someone who can be their version of the 2013 Alex Smith in Kansas City. The bottom line is the demand for starting QB's is greater than the supply. Quote:Maybe not. Ian Rapoport said there is no guarantee Greg Schiano will still be the coach at the end of the regular season. Being that the Bucs have 9 days until their next game, a coaching change could easily happen either today or over the weekend. We show less advertisements to registered users. As much as the Head Coach is a problem in Tampa, an even bigger problem is the organization above Greg Schiano. Based on the track record of the Bucs organization, what Head Coach that has leverage regarding high quality coach opportunities would want to come to the Bucs organization???
I can't see the Bucs winning a game this year. I would love to be wrong, but I really just don't see it.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.
Quote:I can't see the Bucs winning a game this year. I would love to be wrong, but I really just don't see it. You could easily be right, especially since Doug Martin suffered a potentially season ending shoulder injury this past Sunday in Atlanta. The Bucs would be crazy to let Martin play again this season. They are clearly out of the playoff race and Martin has the skills to be a long term solution at RB for them. |
