The more I'm reading into this Grambling State issue, the more I'm coming to realize how pathetic the boycott was due to the following:

 

1) They just happened to select a boycott against the best team in the conference  - Jackson St is 6-0 and Grambling is 0-5 in the conference.

2) They just happened to select a game that was scheduled as a homecoming for the opposing school.

3) They may end up costing their school even more money as Jackson State had decided to take legal action against Grambling.

4) News is surfacing that the players are still upset about the Doug Williams firing and is part of the underlying rationale behind the boycott.

5) Earlier in the week, Grambling assured Jackson State that they would attend the game.  The news changed Friday night.

 

I'd like to see Jackson State take down Grambling and get the expelled from the SWAC.

 

There's a lot more to this story than mold.

The entire situation has been mishandled on both ends from my perspective. The school isn't doing right by the players, and the players are being simply unrealistic.
