FSU fans are right at that level....you wont admit it, but its true.


Social media is constant trash talking now...and if there is any negativity against the football team, those FSU fans will battle for their team regardless if its true or not.

No fan base will reach the level of gator fans during that time. There is nothing to compare that to. People must have short memories. We still get tebow threads that pop up from time to time and he is a broadcaster.

Trust me, your fan base is approaching it.  I started disliking the Gators as a whole because of the Tebow issue and the fan base stupidity....I've already started doing the same thing with FSU.  At the beginning of the year I wanted them to win another national title...not I'm not so sure it would be a good thing.

Again, it will never get there. You wont see FSU fans forcing players down the Jaguars fan base throats. Every fan base becomes annoying when they win. Every single one (as a whole). But we are talking about the level of annoyance. Gators stretched far past their glory years.

Again, thats an opinion.  I wouldn't imagine an FSU fan would ever realize that its at that point.  You are unable to see how obnoxious you guys have become...and its significantly increased over time. 

 

I'm not saying this as a negative (to a point)....your team is on top right now, but to say another fan base was worse than yourselves is a stretch.

Yes but again, no fan base has done what gator fans did during that time regardless if it grew bigger then the fan base itself. Florida fans have been known to do that even before tebow, but they took it to a whole nother level.

Coming from a rival fan I can see that. Understand this too. The obnoxiousness of many FSU fans I work with, and hear are over the top crazy. It goes both ways. No fan base is immune to it. It's coming to fruition now just as I said it would 2-3 years ago.

Again, the arrogance that the only player the Jags could pick to get better was tebow. It was over flowing and they were trying to strong arm with fan pressure for the Jags to make that pick. It isn't pointless. All fans based have arrogant/cocky fans especially when you win a championship or have a long run. That never was the argument. It just never got like it did with the gator fan base with any oother fan base that I have seen. You guys took it to another level.

At this point, you may be hard pressed seeing many fans wanting to draft Jameis after what he's done in college.  It's a huge risk....Tebow was a phenomenon and it wasnt just UF fans wanting him to come here.  It was Bulldog fans, Florida State fans, Miami fans...the list goes on and on.

Not at all....his only proof is that Tebow fans came here and started threads about him coming to the Jags.

 

Lets not forget there were many many many Gator fans that fought just as hard against him coming here.
