The Best Part of the Gators Loss to USC?

I am still waiting on these facts that prove what you say. Right now it's all opinion. The opinion of a rival fan. Solid.

I don't think it is an opinion that gators and tebow were beyond crazy on this board for years and that gator/tebow fans were pushing tebow on the Jaguar fan base. I've never seen anything like it. Am I wrong?

If you're basing an entire fan base off of the board and using that as the evidence to support your opinion then I am not sure what to say.

Quote:i hope for an alabma vs FSU title game. that way we can truly see the SEC elite go against FSU and give them a beatdown that will put into perspective everything ive been trying to convey to your feeble minds
Why wouldn't that have happened last year?  Is Auburn not considered amongst the SEC elite in your eyes?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

The FSU team was a lot better last year and they matched up favorably against auburn.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

There were many in the media who said Alabama was the better team in the SEC, which of course led to the discredit of FSU's win over Auburn.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

I remember tons of talk about FSU's title wouldn't be legit unless they beat Alabama.

I thought Alabama was better too. They were one crazy play away from the title game but the point remains that last years FSU team was much stronger than this year.

No it could not be that Auburn blew the game. They completely outplayed FSU. The special teams were terrible for Auburn and if the safety for FSU could have tackled they would have never got the ball. Robinson had 2 holding calls that changed the game from a rout to a close game.

Other than that a FSU win and congratulations. That was a outstanding Auburn team.

Huh? Off just this board? Seriously? Are you just playing stupid? I'm not sure what to say. Other then I used this board as an example since you were here during the time.

Are you saying that only Gator fans were hardcore in wanting the Jags to take Tebow?  If thats what you are implying, you are wrong.  I had many conversations on and off this board with fans of teams from all over that were hoping the Jaguars would take Tebow.

There were just as many (if not more) Gator fans that didnt want the Jaguars to take him.  If you are basing the Gator cockiness off Tebow to Jax, then I think thats an unfair comparison.

If the Jaguars didnt take Bortles and Jameis wasn't a complete idiot....there would be similar talk of Jameis to Jax.

Any title is Legit.  Well, perhaps the spygate patriots are not but FSUs was definitely legit.

We would have been better off with Tebow than Alualu and Gabbert.  Heck, we probably would have been better off drafting Muammar Gadaffi and Lindsay Lohan then the route we took.

Anyone that thinks that title is not legit is crazy.  Yes, Auburn was lucky to be in the game, but they still beat Alabama.  Who is to say what would have happened in overtime.  It was Saban's fault to be dumb enough to attempt a field goal.

No. I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand. You think there was an equal amount of gator/Jag fans that didn't want Tebow? Really? Again, 1000's of threads would say otherwise.

I never said other people didn't want tebow other then Gator fans and I never implied it. I'm saying no fan base has pushed a player like the gator fan base did in the history of college football to a pro franchise. And again, this wasn't the first time the gator fan base did that. They just took it to an astronomical level.

I wish I could pull those threads....there were FSU fans that wanted Tebow here.  Myself, and even Trav were hardcore against it and there are "1000's" of threads to prove it.

FSU fans are just as bad as UF fans ever have been.  There are "1000's" of threads here to prove it.
