If you could go back to the draft who would you take?
|
I know it is only half way through the season but if you could go back do you still think we made the right decision with Joeckel? The 2 guys I wanted was Joeckel or Star and with Paztor looking good at RT I am wondering if we should of went with Star. He has been a beast and I think our run D would be much better. But Joeckel would still be my 2nd choice if we had to do it over. After Joeckel heals from the injury I still think he will be a beast.

I would go back and take Aaron Rodgers? Oh, this draft? Right...I'd keep Luke to be honest

I'm OK with Joeckel, but I would like do-overs for '10 and '11. Imagine a D line with Watt and Pierre-Paul at the ends.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I said from the beginning Luke Joeckel would be a wasted draft pick because he plays on the left side and we already had a very good left tackle Who would have guessed Eugene Monroe was going to be trade bait when he was one of our best players?
After Joeckel broke his right ankle, I thought if we had not traded Monroe when we did, he would be the left tackle on injured reserve and Joeckel would have moved to that side anyway. But would that make a difference, since we lost both left tackles in less than a week? I am just glad we got two picks instead of a compensatory pick for #75. That said, when Roger Goodell annouced David Caldwell's first pick, instead of being mad like I expected, I was just happy for Joeckel because he got what he deserved. It did make me wonder, however, if Caldwell lied about being a needs-based drafter because Joeckel was the BAP at #2 and plays at a position we did not need to upgrade. I could only think of one reason to pick him: he must have been so good at TAMU we felt he could play on both sides of the line.

As for Watt, other people on this board were criticizing him before the draft and Ryan Kerrigan was projected to go at #16 (which he was), so I thought we don't want the Badger. I would take Luke again. He was the best player in the draft and that hasn't changed all these months later.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

Ziggy is the obvious choice.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

No. Serviceable, yes. He wasn't even the top LT in our own division. Seen Baltimore's running game lately? Non existent.

Star. Was projected to go in the top 3 of the draft and should've went there.
