He's getting ready to write a [BLEEP] story about how the NCAA should punish Winston for assaulting the back judge.

And one of those best teams in the Power 5 is a unbeaten team.

He's a gator homer. All he sees is hate for the Noles. So much in fact he has to constantly troll FSU topics to make himself feel better about his team's horrible season.

We can only hope that is all, but I doubt that to be the case.

Quote:Actually the judge should have stood (or held) the ball at the (in front of the center) LOS between the defense and offense.  He was in the wrong position.

Usually the judge then runs backwards between the center and NG, towards the backfield blows the whistle indicating play to resume, or start, and is out of harms way. That is usually the case for a ref delaying the snap to protect himself.

The ref apologized because he knew he was in the wrong position. If he was in the right position for delaying the snap, none of this would have happened.
Correct application of what he was supposed to do, just in wrong spot. That justifies putting hands on an offical?

ACC Coordinator of officials had this to say:

"As we do every week, our office evaluated each of the games and reports from our officials. This included the detailed report from the Boston College at Florida State game, which was reviewed and accepted. The center judge's positioning, which was due to the experimental year of having an 8th official, combined with the late substitution and by rule the need to allow the defense to matchup, led to contact between himself and the player. The official believed the contact was incidental and insignificant and did not rise to the level of unsportsmanlike conduct and automatic disqualification."

Once again, people making a big deal over nothing because it's Jameis Winston. I bet if Tim Tebow had done this at UF everyone would say how much of a competitor he is.

Maybe.  It is not that I disagree that a penalty should have been called.  Had a penalty been called I would have understood why.  But no penalty was called.  I just don't get the uproar.

And again, I have no idea what happened.  I won't pretend to know.  He wasn't charged, but there are certainly questions with the investigation.  If he didn't rape that girl than he isn't anywhere near as bad as he has been projected in the media, but if he did rape her than he is much worse.  All I'm saying is I have no idea what happened that night.

He was suspended for a game against Clemson for shouting an obscenity on campus. So I guess he is not teflon.
