FSU in another tight game

Quote:If Jameis didn't have all these issues and we stayed away from a qb this year....people would want him here. You know it, I know it....it would be pretty hotly debated on this board.

If he stayed out of trouble, I would have wanted him here if the situation was right. I've read from a few legit sites that have said he's completely off teams boards because of what has happened.

If and buts... there would certainly be a faction of Nole fans that would want him here. No denying that. But gator fans didn't just want him here. They demanded it. It wasn't this is why we want him, but if we don't get him that is fine. They wouldn't take no for an answer and Khan did cave to that, but tebow is the one who rejected Jacksonville (which is ironic don't you think?). Big difdifference and gator fans, while they never went to that extreme, have a history of doing that with other gator players.

Nevertheless, Nole fans won't do what gator fans did. Also, shouldn't they anyways? You state they defend him no matter what so why does that change once he goes into the draft?

Quote:If he raped that girl than you'll get no argument from me. But if he didnt, I think turd of a person is pretty strong. Young and sometimes dumb? Yes, but a turd?
No one knows the story about the night of the alleged rape, so hard to base anything on that completely.

It's a series of things. Turd may be to strong. He's definitely less then model citizen. This attitude dates to before college days too.

jameis winston to me is a dumber more thuggish manziel, as a person. thats how he comes across to me.

i think theyre both just immature but at least manziel makes me laugh.

I'm not sure what you mean by thuggish.

Why bother, you just watched them deny that TebroMania on the Jags message board ever happened. You cant reason with that level of delusion.

I thought maybe I woke up in an alternate universe. It's being down played to the point where there were only 15 posters and every fan base does this...

i have never denied that tebowmania happened and jtmoney can attest to that.

in terms of jameis he just puts off that kind of vibe to me. maybe thuggish was the wrong word but its that sense that he thinks he can do whatever he wants.

kind of funny that the only time posters like flsportsgod can chime in are when they are fabricating things like that.

I think thuggish was definitely the wrong word and that word gets thrown around way too much (and almost always when the person is black).

As far as tebowmania it is being significantly down played on this board. Like it almost never happened.

Stupid colored person alla Richard Sherman.

You are correct.

But it is highly considered.

"A prominent argument against the status quo has been that it favors the Automatic Qualifying, or “power,” conferences in Division I FBS football: the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Big 12, the Big East, the Big Ten, the Pacific-12, and the Southeastern Conference."

Please dont tell me you are trying to make a case for Marshall, who has a weaker schedule than FSU.

You keep saying this, yet provide no examples of his high school behavior and no link to this supposed story.

i never said that once so thats ridiculous to use in a reply to me.

also using the word thuggish had nothing to do with him being black. i just couldnt think of a word that made sense. he thinks there are no consequences and put his hands on a ref. so thats where i pulled thuggish from, like he can bully his way into getting what he wants.

The use of thug became a racist term after Richard Sherman got upset about it.  I've seen white thugs, but its a racist term now.

I was speaking in general terms, not referencing you.

I don't think there was any malice in regards to the ref. He was trying to snap the ball and it happened quickly. I think that is being a little too dramatic. I'm not arguing whether a flag should have been thrown or not, but this whole ref thing has been made out into something it's not.

Maybe it had nothing to do with him being black. I'm just saying when people use the term thug it is rarely used to describe a white person. May subconsciously you did it. Maybe not. I don't know.

I think it has been a way to categorize black people in a bad light way before Richard Sherman.
