Week 14 Games Of Interest, Rivalry Week!

After this game I too am interested to see what Georgia Tech can do against FSU.  They have a legitimate shot in my opinion, just have to avoid turnovers of course.

This is why Mark Richt is a loser.  How in the world with 18 seconds do you allow GaTech to move all the way to FG range?  Why do you ask your kicker to pooch it to the 35 and allow them to run it back to near midfield and only take off a handful of seconds?

Quote:Good drive to close it out for UGA.

I can't imagine the committee will consider Ohio State with their back up qb. They could be a team easy to glaze over in the final decision now.

53 yarder that barely made it. Wow

They had South Carolina beat this year but stupidity costs them that game.  If they blow this game, once again more stupidity.  Every year Mark Richt does this.

That's a tough loss to swallow i'm sure.  Very enjoyable game though!  Mvp has got to be that kicker hands down.

The kicker from Florida, Hardin, has a crazy strong leg. He's been pretty darn good at field goals for the Gators.

Quote:I never heard of a Governor's Trophy for the Gators/Seminoles game, but a good name for it would be the Battle of North Florida.

The playoff committee would be stupid to not put TCU or Baylor in the final four unless they both lose again. But the national championship game is in Arlington, so allowing the Frogs or Bears in would give them a huge homefield advantage if they make it there.

Ohio State/Michigan will be a good one. It is a bigger rivalry than Florida/Florida State and IMO more deserving of a name.

If Florida gets blown out in the first half, I might change the channel to watch the Egg Bowl and root for Ole Miss
Actually it has a name.  Any Ohio State or Michigan fan should know this.  It is simply called "The Game".

So is TCU going to be bumped up to CFP #4 seed I assume?

What a day thus far.  You have to love rivalry weekend!!!

My heart does go out to JT Barrett.  What a season this kid has had.  First he was thrust into the lineup before the season starts as a replacement for a Heisman Trophy favorite.  Then after a horrible performance in his second game actually enters the Heisman conversation himself only to break an ankle against your biggest rival.  Tough, tough break for this kid.
