Sixers are a mess.  Noel is hurt and I'm not even certain that coach knows what he's doing.  They came down so many times last night and put it up with only 1 pass prior to the shot.  Looks very much like the Summer League.  The Summer League comment was actually from the analyst last night.

The league needs to stick with the plan to change the lottery and the way it's run. This will make everything Philly has done worthless and a waste of time and season/s.

The Sixers are $14 million below the cap minimum.

I totally agree about the lottery.  Perhaps give the non-playoff teams an even shot at winning the lottery.

Whatever will screw the sixers the most, I am all for.

That would actually help the Sixers long term if they changed it. Theyve already got most of what they want with Embiid, Noel, Saric, etc. But the other NBA teams got cold feet because they know they might have to do the same thing the Sixers are doing.

Yes, but Embid and Noel are unproven hurt players.  Big guys with injuries is not the recipe for success.

Magic handed the win to GS last night. Why in the world would Harris let Curry create space to shoot a 3? Make him work for that shot.

And the inbounds play, what the hell was that? You go away from your player Dipo who made big shots in the 4th.

This is where some veteran leadership comes into play, we will have nothing left tonight against the Clips.

No it wouldn't. One of the proposed changes would be that the bottom 5/6 in the league would all have the same shot in the lottery to get #1. This would hurt Philly, and they have been fighting changes since Silver announced he wanted to do so.

They're in year two of what's expected to be about a 4-5 year rebuild.

After this year, Philly will have the pieces it'll want for it's future. They aren't going to be bad enough 2-3 years from now where they will be the clear cut worst team in the league record wise (unless all these guys flop). They may still be top 10 bad, but that would be good for them in that new proposed lottery.

Plus, it's only a matter of time imo until Hinkie uses all these assets he's gotten since he's been here to trade for a superstar to speed up the process. Like he saw Morey do for Harden when he was in Houston.

There's a reason that Philly brass have tried blocking any attempt at changes to the current system. Fighting real hard since July. It most certainly throws a kink in the system.

Well yeah, short term it makes since to fight it since they will have the worst record this year and probably top 5 next year.

Silver seems determined to get this changed, so fight while it's good for you.

Next offseason, Orlando needs to hire a new coach and get a stretch 4. If they can get a George Karl, draft Myles Turner, and resign Harris they will be in good shape.

New coach is top priority. Frye is the stretch 4.

I find it hard to fault coaching given the fact that most of the players are 19-23 years old.

Frye has been absolute trash. Wasn't a fan of that signing at all. They need to get a young stretch four that can block shots. That would be the ideal 4 to put next to Vuc.

He's been struggling as of late but I think he is a solid starter. I still like the fit.

Frye is doing what he's done for the past 10 years.  Not sure what people were expecting from this 6'11" dude that averages about 1 free throw per game.

Sixers have won 2 of 3. When do they put playoff tickets on sale?

But in all seriousness, I really hope they don't finish with the worst record in the league this year. Would be so nice to see all the national media who have done nothing but mock and say what a disgrace to basketball they are with egg on their after not finishing with the worst record. Again.
