Teddy Bridgewater

Quote:I don't care if those guys are going off. Bortles is better than both of them. Just wait until BB has some resemblance of an offensive line.Agreed, if Teddy took the beating Bortles has this year he would probably still be in the ER
Quote:Who is more pro ready going into the draft, Bridgewater or Winston? Winston has a lot of Bridgewater in him, in that he can anticipate throws very well, but he is built like a steve mcnair/big ben hybrid... easily the number 1 overall pick based on talent. I just dont trust Mariota.. he reminds me of Kaepernick/RG3... i dont think he will have much success in the NFL
Quote:Agreed, if Teddy took the beating Bortles has this year he would probably still be in the ER Bridgewater's o-line is worse than Bortles, Bortles problem is that he holds on to the ball too long and cant make quick decision, the vikings on the other hand are missing 3 starters on the offensive line, and have no adrian peterson... Bridgewater gets rid of the ball on average as quick as Aaron Rodgers according to ESPN stats and info Quote:Carr's passing stats arent better than teddy's... carr had 2 td's with 0 picks and still ended up with a passer rating under 90.... teddy is the better qb I never said he was better than Teddy. Why do people on this board keep inventing arguments for me?? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Our pass protection is historically bad and our receivers get little separation. Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

But I honestly hope bortles, teddy, Carr, even manziel all pan out. The QB play overall in the NFL isn't the best right now. It could use a new wave of stars.

Quote:Agreed, if Teddy took the beating Bortles has this year he would probably still be in the ER Correct. Bridgewater has done more with more this season. He's played well, but not like a difference maker. Bortles has actually brought the Jaguars reasonably close to competitive with an offense in disarray around him and an offensive coordinator out of his depth.
I think its close between Carr, Bortles, and Bridgewater. No one guy clearly separates himself as the better player yet.

Quote:http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbrMark Sanchez is over Cam, Kap, and Stafford. So he has to be the better QB We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Maclin has better stats this year than Megatron and Dez this year also. He has to be better too right?
Quote:Mark Sanchez is over Cam, Kap, and Stafford. So he has to be the better QB Not to even mention it's already been pointed out why QBR is about the worst stat that exists. Citing it is a way to instantaneously declare yourself unfit for the discussion. Quote:Good luck making that argument here. Surely none of this surprises us ?? Before the draft took place every expert was telling us that Bridgewater was the most "pro ready" ie, he would adapt to the NFL quicker than the others. And that is what has happened. The Vikings OLine isn't perfect and will probably be strengthened in the off-season, but it is better (and more experienced) than ours.
Bortles was always known to be a project and when we picked him the idea was not to start him this season. We all knew he wouldn't get results as quickly. And that was always going to be partly down to our thrown-together OLine. The only surprise is that Carr got his chance so quickly and has done fairly well in an awful team. (And I'm really pleased he has) Quote:http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbrI'd consider that a fairly accurate portrayal of how they should rank. |
