They have a lot of similarities imo

 

Winston has a lot of Bridgewater in him, in that he can anticipate throws very well, but he is built like a steve mcnair/big ben hybrid... easily the number 1 overall pick based on talent. I just dont trust Mariota.. he reminds me of Kaepernick/RG3... i dont think he will have much success in the NFL

Bridgewater's o-line is worse than Bortles, Bortles problem is that he holds on to the ball too long and cant make quick decision, the vikings on the other hand are missing 3 starters on the offensive line, and have no adrian peterson... Bridgewater gets rid of the ball on average as quick as Aaron Rodgers according to ESPN stats and info

Carr's passing stats arent better than teddy's... carr had 2 td's with 0 picks and still ended up with a passer rating under 90.... teddy is the better qb

Just for fun, you can go back and find where I said back when teddy was still in college that the way he plays the position reminds me of Rodgers.


But I honestly hope bortles, teddy, Carr, even manziel all pan out. The QB play overall in the NFL isn't the best right now. It could use a new wave of stars.

Correct.

 

Bridgewater has done more with more this season. He's played well, but not like a difference maker.

 

Bortles has actually brought the Jaguars reasonably close to competitive with an offense in disarray around him and an offensive coordinator out of his depth.

Surely none of this surprises us ?? Before the draft took place every expert was telling us that Bridgewater was the most "pro ready" ie, he would adapt to the NFL quicker than the others. And that is what has happened. The Vikings OLine isn't perfect and will probably be strengthened in the off-season, but it is better (and more experienced) than ours.


Bortles was always known to be a project and when we picked him the idea was not to start him this season. We all knew he wouldn't get results as quickly. And that was always going to be partly down to our thrown-together OLine.


The only surprise is that Carr got his chance so quickly and has done fairly well in an awful team. (And I'm really pleased he has)
