Theft is theft....I used to work in retail, and most people that steal have done it before and will do it again.  They will fully admit it.

You want to make fun of Tebow for crying on the field after a football game, but want to give a thief a pass.  Awesome.

I'm not giving him a pass. I don't condone stealing, and I've said numerous times what he did was stupid. He went back and payed for it, served a suspension, and did community service. He did his penance.

Quote:You're right, and it's complete garbage.  Makes me not want to pay to go to games and support these thugs anymore.  If Jamies were to become a Jag, i'd never go to another game.  I know there are other criminals in the league and on the team, and all that, but i can't stand this self entitled [BAD WORD REMOVED].  I feel the same about Manziel.  I wish i had it in me to not support any of them and quit watching all together, but i enjoy it too much.

That's going a little over board.  This happens in all walks of life, celebrity/high powered people get off constantly.  I'm saying saying he is guilty or innocent just pointing out the obvious about a high powered person getting off.  He's young and can still mature in time.

Ahh, I was confused by you saying it was just petty theft, not grand theft.  That seems like a justification.

He messed up guys, but it wasn't that bad!

Quote:Three different parties have gone through evidence and found that her story does not match the evidence, including a retired Supreme Court justice with no ties whatsoever to FSU. Had this CoC hearing been conducted by the student body like they normally would be, you clowns would say that they're favoring the star athlete. Even now with an independent party conducting the hearing, which was chosen by Winston and the liar, err accuser, some of you still think he's getting off. It's really unbelievable.

What more needs to be proven to convince you?

You should probably call a doctor because you erection for Winston has lasted longer than four hours.  You're the prime example of someone supporting the star athlete blindly.  The kid has maturity issues and better grow up fast or his career my pass him by.

You know what, you're right. They should have just kicked him off the team and locked him up for life.

Maybe if his CoC hearing was held before the United States Supreme Court, you might think it isn't a star player getting off the hook.

He's turned your into a laughing stock.  They should have done more, I agree.

I hope he leaves this year...then I can go back to having a rooting interest in FSU.  It would be better for all parties if he did (except maybe Jimbo)

The one hang up I have on Winston is... "can he do the same thing without being surrounded by 5 star talent and playing against scrubs in the ACC."

I'll take Bortles 100% of the time over Winston.

I love when people use this argument like it's his fault FSU recruits elite talent.

I understand with you being a Miami fan that you wouldn't know what a good QB looks like. It's been a long time since Miami has had one.

Oh and five in a row.

Quote:Lol, I love how people use Hernandez as an example as if Gator fans are supporting him after what he's done.  lol

Or that we knew what he was doing back then and supported him any way! Funny they keep omitting the fact that no one knew about any of it while he was at UF...
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

He's been cleared by a third party.

If you think he's guilty - we'd love to hear your evidence (actually no we don't - all the evidenced has been heard and there just isn't anything there)

If you want to say you don't like him because he stole some crab legs, shot some BB guns and stole some soda from Burger King and yelled an obscene phrase, that's fine but that's hardly significant enough to say "i'll never go see another Jags game if we draft him"

Evidence is simple: Moaning isn't consent. The consent he said he received isn't actually consent. That is pretty straightforward.

Of course no one knew about it when Meyer was there to sweep it under the rug...

You're black and white views are both pathetic and humorous.

And the fact that you still think he raped her with all the information out there that proves he didn't is equally humorous.

Quote:You are such a joke when it comes to Jameis.  You're credibility is shot.
It really is, especially his take on Tebow and his hypocrisy. Completely ignorant statement, and embraces that. Clueless.

Tebow is far from the only athlete to have cried on the field. I posted 6-8 links on over 50 athletes have done so. It's such a non issue. Those who make it out to be have no idea.

Your demeaning of Tebow to try and make Winston look better speaks volumes. Sad.
