2015 looks to be the perfect year for the Jaguars to draft a running back

#41

We need to revamp the OL and the LB corps. Still need to find that FS, receiving TE, and edgerusher. Hard to put RB ahead of those

You dont just draft for the position, you draft for value and RB is also a need.  If you can get one of the elite RB prospects if one falls to the 3rd I think you jump on it

If we've already got our RT and DE sorted by the second round (through draft and FA) then I think we go for the best RB left on the board and make sure we get one of the better ones.

Quote:I agree Tevin Coleman in Rd 2 looks to be a value selection for his talent.

I like Coleman too, but he may be the second back off the board.  I would much rather use a later second round to fourth round pick on a running back.

Who are you thinking will be available by the 3rd/4th rounds ? I think Gordon, Coleman and Gurley will have gone by then. Possibly Johnson too.

I quite like Yeldon and Cobb in the later rounds, but don't think either are in the same class.

Does it matter if we miss on one of the better backs ?

None of these backs mean a thing until the o-line is in working order.

Buck Allen from USC. Awesome receiver out of the backfield, 6'1 215 and isn't worn down. He has only started for a year and a half.

They're going to be better next year just based off more experience, plus I expect that there will be more competition added through FA and possibly the draft too.

Plus, a very good RB will make the OL look better, being able to grind out those 4-5 yards more consistently wear down DLinemen. When MJD led the league in rushing, our OL wasn't that good either.

Mike Davis or Jay Ajayi in round 3?

I like the Jags trading down late in the first, picking up a 2016 first rounder, and selecting the best running back on the board and using the rest of the rounds to fill in on the line and secondary.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Quote:God yes, that guy can score from anywhere on the field.

Quote:Tevin Coleman shows insane rare long speed in that clip, I'm praying the Jags select him in the 2nd.

Quote:Tevin Coleman second round.

I've only seen YouTube highlights, but he reminds me of Arian Foster.
