Jim Harbough Out in San Fran

This is great news for the Jaguars, any chance we could get him? Doesn't have to be a head coach.

I dont even think we have a slim chance at all. Living in California and being in 9er country Its crazy that this has happened but we had seen ti coming for awhile. Im pretty sure he returns to college, I doubt he goes to either oakland or chicago at this point but who knows...
Anyone who reallyl thinks we have a chance of getting him has not been paying attention. He ruled out every team except the Raiders and Wolverines. It is now widely assumed he will go back to MIchigan.
I still feel like raiders(and of course bears) are long shots, if anything because of the divisions. I think Jim wants to go and win and thats something he will find easier in college.

He should apply for Atlanta job. That's an easy division. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Maybe Khan would consider his services, based upon our record and his record. Relax JDub.

Season gets the boot. And we should have the same results as this year in 2015. But hey, Gus is a positive guy!
He's headed to Michigan.
From fox sports: Quote:Harbaugh is scheduled to be on a private jet at 10 a.m. PT Monday headed for Ann Arbor, a source said. The plan is for Harbaugh to be at Michigan's home basketball game on Tuesday against Illinois.
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Quote:Just a question. Maybe Khan would consider his services, based upon our record and his record. Relax JDub. Jim Harbaugh already said per Adam Shefter he is only open to coaching the Raiders - reason being to stay in the Bay Area - if he chooses not to take the MIchigan job. Quote:It's amazing that we stick with 3/4 win coach, but a SB runner up and 8-8 bad? Season gets the boot. The problems were disagreements with John York and veteran players turning against him. It did not mean he was a bad coach, just that it was time to move on. And he was not fired. It was a mutual agreement.

Why would we want him? Did nothing with an absolutely stacked roster, all his players hated him. He changed his identity as a team from one that worked, ie on the shoulders of Gore, to one which didnt work just because his QB had been signed to a nice new contract.
The guy lives on reputation, I think I could of got the 49ers to 8-8 this year.. Quote:Why would we want him? Did nothing with an absolutely stacked roster, all his players hated him. If by "nothing" you mean a Super Bowl appearance and three straight NFC Championship games, then yes he did nothing. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:If by "nothing" you mean a Super Bowl appearance and three straight NFC Championship games, then yes he did nothing. Did he win the Super Bowl? No. He lost to a Ravens team that was completely inferior in terms of talent, albeit had the Ray Lewis effect going on. San Fran has probably had the best roster in the league in his time there, and he couldnt deliver the one thing that's important, which is a Super Bowl. Not only that but he lost his dressing room along the way. So now people want us to come in and coach a 3-13 team and see what he can do with it? No thanks, im not Gus' biggest fan, but if Harbaugh comes in expect similiar results except with the atmosphere the Cleveland Browns are going through right now. If he has any sense he will take up Michigan on their offer and spend the rest of his time in College. His attitude does not work with professional players.
