Who is the pick today?

#1

If the draft was right now who does Caldwell take? Williams? Cooper?

Who gets taken before us should be established first.

I guess we'll assume the mass majority is correct and that Mariota/Winston go 1 and 2.

I'd be shocked if it doesn't. I think Mariota is a lock to go #1 and Titans aren't winning crap with Mettenberger. They are in a position to potentially grab a franchise player.

Having been through the Vince Young era, I think the tacks may be hesitant to hitch their wagon to Winston.

that reminds me of the wonderlic and i am really curious to see what jameis' score will be.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

How are VY and JW similar?

Winston is far more accurate than VY.

Mobility?

If mobility makes one comparable to VY, did Indy make a mistake drafting Luck, and did the Jaguars err in drafting Bortles?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

They should see what they have in Mettenberger and go with Leonard Williams.

They are very similar in that neither of them seem very bright and both have had issues with decision making.

Winston is much more talented than Young. Both had maturity issues coming out. Would you trust Wiston to lead your team? Or just stay out of trouble?

Jameis may make dumb decisions, but apparently he's actually smart or at least book smart. He was recruited to Stanford and would have gotten a scholarship from them even though the school doesn't drop their admission standards for athletes.

I'm leaning towards Cecil walking and Dave grabbing Cooper. Unless the Browns make it worth our while.

I'd be a little peeved with this.  Cooper isn't a Megatron prospect and we have a lot of potential with our rookies alone.  I'd rather even go RT as that is a more important position than receiver is, both in general and for the Jags.

Williams and if he's gone Stanley

I agree with this. I'd be fine with signing an established veteran to add to the core group of WRs, but investing that high of a pick to what I believe is already a strength isn't maximizing the value of the draft pick.

Williams if hes off the board you go Ray

If we can trade back and get the 2 browns picks we should draft Fowler Jr and Holman

I could see the Browns going up for Cooper with Gordon situation

Although I recently made an entire thread about my concerns with Williams' scheme fit, you have to think it would be him.

He's the BPA and DT just became a need with our injuries. And even if Sen and Roy are fine, putting Williams in the rotation at DT and 5T would be really nice.

I still haven't scouted him (hurry up DraftBreakdown) but going off the opinions of much more informed people I think he's it.

Otherwise I'd take Gregory. Got the production and the profile to be a LEO. Trade down, maybe grab Collins or Ray.

Would really really like Funchess in the second though.

I kinda have this feeling Titans might take williams. but we shall see how things fall.
