Jedd Fisch Fired!

Assuming there isn't a similar learning curve with a completely different offence in 2015.

He was a bad/risky hire to begin with.

Now? Are there excuses for next year? Like..oh..it takes a while to adjust to a new offense?

Let's see who they get and what adjustments are made in the offense that will be run and the new players they acquire.

Others may continue thumping their chests and remind us all on how you " called it".

Funny how many wanted Koetters head a couple of years ago, and now his name comes up again. Really?

My two cents? Trestman ... With some reservations. He didn't do much with a Bears offense loaded with talent.

It's primarily to help the young players develop. My thing is if players know the playbook and are comfortable, that's more time they can spend honing their craft, knowing how to attack coverages, etc. It would give them a frame of reference from which to attack defenses.

But now a lot of their offseason time will be spent learning a new offense.

It is my deepest hope the new offense will be easy for the players to learn and one in which they can be insanely successful.
Wow great observation man.

I agree 100%

Hope whoever he is can get it together fast.

Bortles knows what he has to do this offseason, work on his footwork. He doesn't need to worry about the playbook, this offseason is all about fundamentals

Agreed.

I don't like that scheme.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

This. Come on Caldwell... Bring him in!

Not quite a fan of the move unless we are getting a guru. I don't want a nobody for a nobody. If we are doing this go get Roman or Trestman

i'm no expert obviously but i can't recall a coordinator that offense seems to never manufacture an open receiver so much. I can watch other games and I see guys running WIDE open and i'm like why can't we get that....(Bridgewater's receivers wide open). I said to myself, maybe it's the youth, but that makes no sense whatsoever.....has to be the scheme. Hoping for the best going forward

I'm excited to find out who the next college-level OC we will hire (and eventually fire)

All this does is create another excuse for this regime...

"But, but we have a new OC and a new system. We need 3 more years. Its a 6-yr rebuild now. Make sure that 1010xl will inform the fans, 6 not 3!"

Greg Roman would be a better fit IMHO here. Trestman might be very motivated though to get the job done after his stint in Chicago. I don't know. It's interesting. All I know is that. I hope it's a guy that's been in the NFL and not from the college ranks again.

I hear you, I can only be on board with this if it is someone who is known to develope quarterbacks and have great offensive schemes.
