I love this new playoff in college. I'm starting to wonder if recent prior seasons without the playoff made the SEC look much more powerful than it really is?


If you think about it,, the last 2 SEC champions (the best of their conference) just got beat by the ACC and BIG10 in consecutive years. Think about that for a second.


Really, I wonder how Bama, LSU, Auburn, UF would've faired if there was a playoff in place the last decade? Curious.


SEC East is terrible. Missouri has won that the past couple years. Will UGA, UF, TENN ever get back to what they once were?


Even TAMU competes well in the West. And again, both West champions the last 2 years just got beat by ACC and BIG10.


Really make some question their perceived strength the past decade.

Playoffs is always what makes NCAA basketball interesting. You don't necessarily need to be the better team, you just have to be better than them for that one game to move on.

That's silly. Looks like there will be no SEC trash talk this year. Urban Meyer is a great coach that just beat the best the SEC had with a third string QB.

No one remembers that this happens all the time in bowl games. They stadium crew has to get everything set up for the trophy presentation and all that hoopla.
