I hope we take Randy Gregory.

All I know is that if in some situation Leonard Williams is not available to the Jags. players like Randy Gregory or Shane Ray are pretty good consolation prizes. I think Randy Gregory will need to beef up his rookie season, but I honestly believe he will be a beast in the pass rush and will garner Pro-Bowl consideration.

You have no clue Quote:It's okay, while I watch actual snaps and you all watch highlights I think I know a bit more than you about it. Yep, NOBODY ON THIS BOARD WATCHES SNAPS, ALL HIGHLIGHTS!

Quote:I watch game cut ups not highlights so I'll trust my opinion over yours. Probably the same people here thought Clowney/Mack>Bridgewater last year lol. As someone who thought Bridgewater was the best player in the draft, Williams is FAR from being all hype. Gregory is closer to being overhyped simply because he's much more raw than Williams and he'll need a year or two to get acclimated to the NFL game. Williams should be able to contribute from day one.

Tbf to Mack he has had a good year, so you hardly got that right
I love Teddy but he's not gonna end up the best in the class. I think that will be Blake, or Carr (who I really liked) if we fail to give Blake some help.
I was actually a fan of doing what the raiders did (Mack first, Carr second) But you can't deny that last year's draft was phenomenal. As to this question... I've scouted Gregory, even did a write up on him. There's no question he's good, he's currently my highest rated player out of those I've scouted. But to say Williams is all hype... think about what that means. You're saying an interior defensive lineman has been hyped? I don't ever remembering that happening. Look guys... the good part of sucking this bad is that we pretty much have a shot at whoever we want. Williams will be good. Gregory will be good. We can't really go wrong, nor do I think we will.

Williams or Gregory?
Sure we can all have a preference, but either way, the Jags have the opportunity to draft a real difference maker on the Dline and more often than not, such players impacts games in a big way.
Gimme the day 1 impact guy in Williams over the project player any day.
Dudes a boogey man level monster. You get him bull rushing RTs with Marks in the middle and i dont care who the other AFCS teams have at QB. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:Uh oh you caught me, didn't save a link to a post I made a year ago about a random topic must be a lie :OI'm not going to claim any moral high ground here, because I wanted Manziel in the last draft (or Bridgewater). But it turns out the forum is easy to search.. And these were Swaguars rookie of the year predictions on May 2nd... 02 May 2014 Just for fun ROY - Teddy Bridgewater OROY - Sammy Watkins DROY - Khalil Mack (I'd say Clowney but I don't trust him) And this was his answer when asked for his three favourite picks for us... 28 Apr 2014 Clowney Mack Watkins ~ Teddy ~ Johnny This was a little earlier, but he did indeed appear to be a fan of drafting teddy from this list... 23 Mar 2014 Teddy Teddy Teddy Watkins Teddy I can't fine the post in which he says OBJ is a better prospect than Watkins (who he describes as an "elite" prospect with "magic hands"), but he is at least consistent in saying he likes Bridgewater. Generally, the players he liked before the draft have worked out ok But can't see anything to suggest this is he second coming of Nostradamus. (Although the Clowney concern was well founded as it turns out !) Feel free to go back through my post-history now to find my contradictions ! (I'm sure I've had some)
