Trade options for 2015
|
If we trade any of our picks - the third in rounds 1, 3, 5, and 7 and fourth in rounds 2, 4, and 6 - who would you want to trade picks with?
What trade offer would you accept if another team called us to move up in any round? Would you rather stay put, trade up, or trade down in each round? Do you think we will trade any picks before or during the draft? I think it would be cool to trade with the Buccaneers in Round 3 just to beat the Titans to a player. I'd like for the Rams to trade us all their picks to select Jameis Winston at pick #3. That would be sweeet
I would like to move down in Rd 3 to pick up another Rd 4 pick. The first two picks in any draft are your premium picks. The talent thins out in Rd 3 and that is where the Jags have the greatest chance to pick up their Free Safety. The extra Rd 4 pick could be used on an ORT and perhaps a TE or LB.

The tight end class is weak. I think it is like Funchess, then everybody else. So round 2 would be better for fixing that position. But a linebacker in round 4 would not be bad since we are in the depth stage of our rebuild.
What if we traded our first two picks for Eli Manning? He would be a great mentor for Bortles!

the 1st round I want to trade down for an extra 2nd and next years 1st, would like to trade back in the 3rd, up in the 4th, and back in the 5th and 6th
This year a trade is likely not to happen. The reason is because 1st 2 teams need a QB. we pick 3rd and Oakland picks 4th. If anything Oakland will get a trade if a QB is available. Everyone knows we aren't drafting a QB. Someone will jump ahead of us or they will trade up after we pick 3rd. Ill take Williams with Marks injury.

Know what would be a sweet trade? If we could do a package 3 way deal and send Marcedes Lewis to Tampa Bay, send Ace Sanders to Tennessee and we get the three top picks!!
Quote:Is Jesse James coming out? No report yet on the underclassman tracker. Stay tuned.
Here's another one.. What if we traded the #3 pick to Seattle for Earl Thomas and Doug Baldwin!! That would be Legion of Bomb!

What if we traded our 2nd round pick to NFL.com and we got some straight answers about these men!
The TE class is a bit weak, but there is still talent that can play in the NFL and much of that talent can be had in the middle rounds.
It will not take much to upgrade the TE talent on the Jags roster. TEs that may be available in Rd 4 include: Clive Walford of Miami, Tyler Kroft of Rutgers (if he declares) and Bibbs of Iowa State. Heck even OLeary of FSU may fall to Rd 4. Any of these TE could help the Jags in 2015. I like Rory Anderson of South Carolina and he may be available in Rd 5 or later.
First round draft order for non-playoff teams:
1. Buccaneers 2. Titans 3. Jaguars 4. Raiders 5. Redskins 6. Jets 7. Bears 8. Falcons 9. Giants 10. Rams 11. Vikings 12. Browns 13. Saints 14. Dolphins 15. 49ers 16. Texans 17. Chargers 18. Chiefs 19. Browns (from Bills) 20. Eagles Based on this official list, who do you think would be a good trade partner if we don't want to stay at #3? Keep in mind Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota have not declared yet, so all of the talk about them going 1-2 is premature. We show less advertisements to registered users. I think a good trade partner would be the saints because they need good players. Yawn
