Leonard Williams to the Jaguars looks good to me...

How did you put a Jaguars jersey on him?
We already have a top five defensive line. To have a top five defense overall, we need a starting free safety and backup safeties.
Yeah how did you do that??!?? Are you a magic wizard??? How is that even possible??;!??
Unfortunately we won our completely meaningless TNF game against the Titans, so instead of us getting what looks like hands down the best player in the draft (non QB at least) our division rivals are probably going to get him.
That haunted us three years ago when our meaningless win late in the season vs the Colts has us facing Luck for the next decade, and it's likely going to do it again.
Wheres that Randy Gregory photoshop because hes who were getting

You could not be more wrong about that game. It was one that we needed to win and wanted to win. Beating the Titans did not hurt us one bit in the draft. Beating the Titans did not hurt us one bit in the draft.Except that instead of getting the best player in the draft for the next decade, our closest rivals do (most likely). That hurts more than one bit, and it hurts a whole lot more and a whole lot longer than winning that meaningless game against the Titans feels/felt good.

Ya right dude. With Luck I can see somewhat of an argument for the tanking mentality, but for a defensive lineman? Really? We show less advertisements to registered users. Real glad we didn't tankfor Clowney.

Quote:you are talking to the guy that wanted us to tank for the guy that went 32nd overall and the year before for the guy that went in the 2nd round. You must be confusing me with someone else. My stance on tanking is simple and consistent. Any win while the team is out of contention that will cause fewer players to be available to draft when Dave is on the clock is statistically a bad thing for the future of the franchise. That is 100% congruent with logic. That doesn't mean that the players we miss out on are guaranteed to be the best players in the draft, or that Dave won't get whoever his top player happens to be regardless of that win, but the extremely easy concept to grasp is that a larger player pool for Dave to pick from is better than any size smaller of a player pool. And yes I definitely did say Teddy was easily the best player for us in the draft last year (which I think was and still is sound), and I said Geno was the best QB in a bad class two years ago...but I certainly never said to tank for either player. Thanks guys. I just took a picture of Leonard Williams and photoshopped the Jaguars jersey over him. Took some time and a little magic to make it look good but I'm happy with the turnout.

People were singing this same tune last year in regards to Clowney and Teddy. It's only January.
