What is it you fail to see regarding that rally? I will just give the benefit of the doubt and just assume you're being ultra sarcastic. If not, you are lost. The lack of support of that rally which was advertised for weeks goes to show that there was a vocal minority who made things appear much worse then perceived.

What's that have to do with it? Really? If you could somehow manage to take away the love of Tebow nation wide, and non gator fans backing of Tebow away, it would make a dramatic difference. I never doubted there were true Gator fans who pushed way top hard, but add in the rest and it became that much crazier.

 

Of course it would make a difference, but that was never my argument.  Take away all the other people pushing him and only focus on the gator fans pushing him.  No fan base has done that with a player as obnoxiously as gator fans did.  My point is valid regardless of all the other fans that were tebow crazies.

Well...to be fair, if we started lumping every Winston threat into one large thread, which is what happened with the Tebow, it could get pretty long too. I'm not saying it would be AS long though...

That rally took place in 2013 towards the time the Tebow hype was dieing down. Lol, yes the rally is the end all be all when it comes to gator fans and tebowmania. What I see is you sighting a poor example and using that to justify your ludicrous argument, but like I said, you have all the facts.

No it's not ludicrous. My point has always been it was a very vocal minority who hyped this up more then anything. Add in the national love, and the constant attention by all media and you see what you got.

15 at best as far as posters go. That remains. 5 and 15 are quite different jt, but you can spin however you wish. There was a major minority of posters on here who created the vast majority of the posts you are talking about. Who said 5 again?

Regardless, I said I was going by memory and thought that is what you said. You did also say you were talking about the people who showed up to the tebow rally, but you were referring to posters.
