I wanted a RB this year but after his last 3 games of dominance. Big 10 championship, Sugar Bowl, and National Championship, As deep as this RB class is I think his he will be worth the wait next year and the best of the bunch. I can see what Jeremiah is saying in his tweet, the combination of vision, power, speed, blocking, and cut ability is sick

3 straight 200 yds rushing games in the Big 10 championship, Sugar Bowl, and National Championship is impressive. He is a great blocker also

Well if Caldwell has his way we will most certainly be looking for a RB next year.

Ha. I made the same comparison earlier. I was basing it on size and style. He's not as fast as Fred, but I see the similarities.

Daniel Jeremiah wrote this on NFL.com:

Quote:Elliott's running style reminds me of Fred Taylor's. He was explosive between the tackles as well as outside. He gave the Buckeyes favorable situations throughout game, and was money in short yardage.

Good as this years RB class is, some are saying next years could be even better if we can afford to wait...

He honestly just looked like a near carbon copy of Carlos Hyde to me, which is a really good player. I don't see Fred at all though...Zeke doesn't have that cutback ability or jaw dropping acceleration for his size.

That is what I was thinking. People underestimate how fast Fred was.

I though he seemed a little brain dead. Yeah he can run like a bull, but can he make it through an NFL interview? Urbs products will be highly scrutinized after the Aaron Hernandez ordeal.
