Deflate Gate - the report is in

Quote:Is this a real question?
I want to know exactly what they are going to be punished for.

Some footballs were under-inflated. Why where they under-inflated? Who under inflated them? When did it happen, where did it happen, how did it happen?

So right now, Who gets punished for what?

I know these types of "controversies" always seem to fall on the Pats (deservedly so). But,, I'd think it would be very naive to think that no other NFL team/organization pulls these type of "dirty" tricks to gain advantages in a whole host of ways (Piped in loud crowd noise from the stadium speaker system ring any bells?).

All I am saying is I'm positive that most, if not all, teams/organizations are pulling all types of shenanigans to try and gain advantages. I'm sure of it.

this is moronic. no way to prove who did anything.

i can almost guarantee that at least 20 other teams do the same things.

and how has this not been brought to anyones atttention before? tom brady has been elite for the past decade. has he been using deflated balls for 10 years now? someone just noticed?

did the deflated ball help blount steamroll the defenders and make them miss tackles?

get outta here. whine baby colts. you got mopped. your god of a qb pooped his pants in a big time game. the end.

11 of the 12 footballs, not some. Colts reported this about New England back in November. We call this a pattern.

Everyone is good at being the judge, jury, and executioner, but yet no one can answer these "small details".

NFL is investigating. Why they did it is simple. Easier to catch and throw the ball. Happened after they weighed the balls.

We will see how it plays out.

I'm really not seeing colts fans wHine about this. Actually their coach handled it with class even though they had already reported the Pats for this back in November.

It doesn't matter. The pats are responsible for the 11 balls they issue on game day.

Ignorance is not an acceptable defense.

Uh, yes it does matter. Again, please tell me who is gonna get punished and what they are going to be punished for.

The refs are responsible for inspecting all the game balls before each game. They all checked out fine apparently since they were allowed to use them. So what happened after that?

You see, you need a little thing called "evidence " to prosecute someone. And at this time there is nothing but internet stupidity(in abundance).

they reported it in november and nothing happened.

the refs handle the footballs all game. they didnt seem to think anything was wrong?

this is all [BAD WORD REMOVED]....(bull crap is apparently a bad word). everyone wants an asterisk near the pats name. i guess when a team gets embarrassed that bad you would expect something to be up.

It was freezing cold and the refs minds are on other things then thinking about whether a ball is inflated or not. I'm not sure what you are questioning there. They've confirmed 11 of the 12 balls where under inflated.

One thing we know about the NFL is they aren't very good about getting ahead of things. They would prefer it to go away. They've shown that throughout Goodell's era.

Hopefully this results in Pats & clots forfeiting first rd picks. Pats for cheating and clots for tattling

To be fair it wasn't freezing cold. It was 50 degrees out. Factoring in the temperature and the time the balls were out which was 90 minutes the balls should have only shrunk just under .8 psi. They were 2 pounds underweight so something else happened. It was noticeable enough for it to catch the attention of a player who doesn't handle footballs too often.

Who did it? We don't know that yet. But if it is determined that it was done by a member of the Pats I would expect a heavy punishment to follow considering this isn't their first time skirting around the rules of the NFL.

Correct, not freezing cold, but some what miserable conditions. It's dropped to upper 40's with rain. Anyways, point being the refs not noticing is not a surprise.

Deservedly so?

Why's that? The only thing you know is that there were 11 deflated balls found at halftime. Which, if I might remind you is before the Pats ran wild on the Colts.

So you all of a sudden know for a fact how they were deflated? You know for a fact that the Patriots, if it was indeed a calculated ploy on the Pats part, did it with ill intent?

No you don't. You only surmise - yet are all ready to play judge jury and executioner over this matter with fines and the stripping of draft picks. Thanks for making my point for me
Winning or losing the game has nothing to do with it. I am not sure why Patriot fans are stuck on that.

The patriots organization will be fined, belicheck fined, and draft picks forfeited. That is my guess. Like predator said, Ignorance is not an acceptable defense.
