Three of America’s fastest growing beer brands are foreign

As the nation's most popular beer, Bud Light may the king of beers.

But will it soon be unseated by a foreign competitor?

While Bud Light current hold 19 percent of the beer market, a new report from financial news publication 24/7 Wall St. reveals that three of the fastest growing brews in the U.S. are all foreign. And no, these aren’t the beers that claim to be imported but are really just domestic brews in misleading packaging.

I drink Dos Equis frequently myself, as well as Tecate and Sol.

I'm not a big Tecate fan but I'll grab a Sol here and there. I'll take a Pacifico over Sol or Corona though.

Now I'm thirsty.

Budweiser is owned by Anheuser-Busch which is American and in turn is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev which is Belgian.

Miller is much better, I get mad when the local country store makes me choose between Bud and Coors.

Anyone ever try Fat Tire Ale?   I tried it a week ago and it was really great.

I don't understand why a company with as much money as Budweiser (or whoever owns them now) can't brew better beer.

Because idiots in Texas feel its their patriotic duty to drink Belgian beer, and as long as you have morons buying your low grade product why would you spend any more to improve your product?
