The Walking Dead Season Five- merged (caution: spoilers)

Ty should've bought it from a human, that would've fit better with his prrsonsl issues.

Quote:I was talking about this yesterday too with my fiance. It sucks really. I literally said "Why do they keep calling off the black characters and swapping them out for guys I don't like?". T-Dogg was awesome. Bob was "okay". But dropping Tyreese was a bummer. But that's how it was written in the comic so I can't complain. Realistically it's an apocalpyse, and not everyone is going to live. Still sucks losing a good, strong character in my book. I was more upset about Tyreeses' death more than any other character in the show so far outside of maybe Herschel.

Hershel's, Dale's, and Merle's deaths have all bugged me.  I know most hated Merle, but I really appreciated his portrayal.  His death was fantastic, but I was sad to see him go like that.

Dale's death was crazy. I don't miss him though. He drove me nuts. I appreciated his POV and agreed with him at times, but dude was annoying as all get out.

All good character's. I'd a like to see Merle still around. Guy was coming around. Mean, tough, knew how to survive.

I miss T-Dog a lot too.

He means Tyrese should have been killed by a human.

Didn't read the comic books and haven't spoiled it for myself by looking ahead on Gore's internet but I guess the only thing I can hope for is a solid ending when they do decide to end it. I don't think I can ever forgive the writers and producers of The Sopranos..

The comics will likely outlive the show, so they'll probably have to completely separate at some point, also I like the Sopranos finale, maybe not all of the final season though.

Correct. He didn't seem to have issues with killing the Zs, but he couldn't make a good judgement about the character of living people. He couldn't seem to bring himself to kill the living until he was pushed really far beyond what most of us would probably accept. To have him killed as a result of a poor judgement of a living person would've seemed like a more realistic possibility. Find some girl in a room, turns his back and gets blasted from behind, or tricked into a room full of walkers...something more along those lines then just a bite from the back. That was kinda weak.

You'd think threatening to kill an infant would be enough to justify the killing of another in the apocalypse.

I would say it was his character that got him killed in the end and maybe by a human.  The people in the pictures and his humanity caused him to be taken off guard.  Still weak that such a strong guy got taken out like that.

Huh

20 minutes left to make something happen. Snoozer of an episode IMO.

A lot of spiritual overtones in that episode..

Absolutely love the show but it's leaving me with some questions..

For example, when ole girl decided to snap and pull her knife on the walkers on the road, she killed a couple with her knife and then slipped a little and sliced ole big red in the arm, drawing blood. How come big red didn't turn? The blade shoulda had walker blood on it, right?

I was thinking the same thing in regards to Abraham. It seems that some of the "rules" on becoming infected have changed over the course of the series.

maybe it's in the bite... cause they have covered themselves more than once in walker blood and I'm sure they had a cut or two that could have come in contact... I think it's something in the bite

Boring episode, offered that bare minimum in story progression, and almost nothing new in character progression.  I assume they wouldn't introduce Aaron until next week but I guess they had to throw in a little nugget to save the episode.

What was up with the long fangs on the two wild Dobermans? That did not look right.

I thought last nights episode was pretty good, we got to see them all at there lowest point. I think it's important to establish the not only physical toll but the mental and emotional toll the group is dealing with. Walking from Atlanta to DC is no small task.
