NFL rosters could expand
 

NFL rosters are currently allowed to carry 53 active players. According to ProFootballTalk, the NFL is exploring a possible expansion of two players per team. As there is with any decision, there are pros and cons which PFT describes below.

Im so use to say 53 man roster, they cant change it! :teehee:

 

Crazy to think just adding 2 more spots would add so much cost :woot:

It said in the article it wouldn't add much to the payroll.  The pool is what it is regardless of roster size.

I always wondered why the roster limit is 53. That is a weird number and teams could definitely use two more players.
