For McCourty's sake I hope the pats aren't gonna mess him over. Revis is slated to make 25 million this year. How they can truly make him an offer like that is beyond me since they are currently over the cap. I'm surprised his agent advised him on that.

Even teams like the Chiefs trying to pay Maclin 11 mil a year. How is this possible? The don't even have enough the pay the franchise tag on Houston.

Are you saying Gurley in the 4th or 5th round?

Quote:I doubt we go RB that early if at all if we take Murray. Toby seems to still be in the fold, and D-Rob is the #2.Yeah
Yeah probably not 2nd round, but I could see 3rd or maybe 4th. Let him groom for a season or two ala Freddy/ Jones-Drew. I

It sounds like they are preparing to release Browner which would tell me that they are nearing an agreement with Revis.

New deal for Revis in NE and Bowe cut/Hali restructure in KC. Obviously both teams will have to do a bit more restructuring or cutting of players though.

If the Jaguars sign Murray they're not drafting a RB

IDK what to think right now...

Honestly, I think he ends up in Dallas with all this talk.

I hear you I just have a hard time believing Revis is willing to pass on 25 million for one year especially since he just came off another dominant season and super bowl ring. This dude was getting a new contract every year for about 3-4 years straight. It just doesn't make much sense for him to all of a sudden pass on 25 million now. This is what he's been trying to get his whole career lol.

Yeah just like you said those moves just aren't enough. We are talking about some serious money right now as well as being pressed up or past the cap.

I think Jerry Jones wants Adrian Peterson anyways and AP is trying to force his way out and knows Dallas wants him, they might pass on paying Murray

No one is going to pay him 25 million. If the Pats decided to cut him today he won't even see that on the open market. 25 million is 10 million higher than the highest paid CB currently.

Stay away from Percy Aw Mercy. Supremely talented guy, yes. But the Seahawks who have a much stronger locker room got rid of him (reportedly because he kept harping on Wilson's ear. Last thing we want to do to Blake), and the equally bad offense with no QB (Jets) got rid of him too.

There's a reason this guy is floating out there despite how talented he is.

Again I hear you. But he did make 20 million in Tampa for one year. He seems like the priorty over McCourty. If his deal isn't done by tomorrow then they have to pick up his option of 12 million or he is a free agent. One of them will hit the market from my stand point.

Or maybe they don't.

I'm no cap specialist and I dont know these guys but Revis is due more by them picking up his option than any other situation, even a long term deal. I just don't see this guy taking a pay cut from previous behaviors....

Close on Demarco and get Browner, then call if a day.

Look for LEO, OTTO and FS in the draft
