I think of Aaron Williams in Buffalo. Considered a disappointment at CB. Moved to free safety and he has been terrific.

Gratz might have the build for FS, but his skill set isn't suitable for it. There's a reason we drafted him at CB to begin with, and its because of his man cover skills. If the Jags aren't moving Aaron to FS, then Gratz is in trouble.

Mark Schlereth's comments about Julius becoming irrelevant since he is going to Jacksonville was a low blow. What he said was not spoken from a professional perspective either, it was full of hate. I think he's still bitter from 1996.

 

It could also be he wanted Denver to keep Julius Thomas, being a former Broncos player. I can't blame him for being upset about his favorite team losing one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets. But bitterness about 1997 (the year that game was played) certainly is not something that can go away.
