They aren't going to NOT scout Mariota. Just because he has no chance of beating out Teddy (especially after he gets rocked against Stanford) doesn't mean you don't throw him a courtesy bone.

 

Not to mention all of the other talent around him inflating his stats that Dave will want to look at.

Vagrantwade, I hope you know that you and your 'scouting evaluations' can't be taken serious because you have such an obvious bias for Bridgewater and against any QB not name Bridgewater.

You do realize no one actually believes someone who wants us to be the worst team in the NFL again next season is really a Jaguars fan, right?

 

And I have no idea why you are talking about "pre-conceived notions". He will be AT the game to see him get rocked by Stanford. The same way Mariota was mediocre to terrible in his last two games.

 

I can't help it that I am such a huge fan of one of the best QB prospects of my life time.

Yeah Mariota wasnt playing like a top 5 draft pick his last 2 games, would be really disappointed if we have to settle for him just because of how good Teddy is. He could still possibly be a franchise guy though.

So glad that Caldwell is at Oregon-Stanford.  And TMD always says #BecauseJaguars that Caldwell will see Teddy's worst game.  How bout that luck now?  #OurLuckIsChanging
