The history of the Dolphins suggests that it's only a question of when,  not if Cecil Shorts will be yesterday's news.   Their 2013 FA class is exhibit A of this.

Didn't some semi-official place say that Shorts was worth $9M/yr earlier this season? I'd poo myself laughing if Miami gave him anything close to that.

Is there a link to Miami anywhere.?  All I see out there is Browns and Eagles chatter on Shorts.

it's rumors.  I also saw the Browns rumor.  The Browns makes sense because they saw Cecil play well first hand.

Using that logic, why didn't the Raiders want Julius Thomas more than we do? What makes sense to us does not always happen.

 

That said, I am not surprised the Browns might want Cecil Shorts because they need a wide receiver and sometimes suck at finding the right players.
