Eagles aren't even in.  They're looking at Ryan Matthews (if he isn't signed already.)

Quote:Yeah its clear he doesn't want to come here. Its time to move on to spiller for less and other FAs. Murray is wasting time.

His money can be spent on 2 other players.

Would love to have him but only if he is proud to be a jag

I don't think it's much about not wanting to come, but not getting what he's expecting from the market.  He's holding out for something that isn't there, or is having a tough time accepting less than he expected.  So, it's highest bid that's still below his wishes vs going back to somewhere he expected to leave.  Or maybe he's waiting for something else to happen that isn't likely to happen.

They are strongly in even w/ the Matthews signing. Same as Raiders even w/ the Helu signing. Weird on both accounts I know.

Too early to judge what's gonna happen period. Maybe he doesn't wanna come here. So be it. Not too big of a deal except that we need to spend money and there isn't too much top quality left out there. Can we still roll over cap to next year and reach the spending requirement then?

Quote:Because the charges against him were dropped. In the eyes of the law he is innocent. He really shouldn't have been suspended at all.

I still think there's concern there from clubs that they want to do their due diligence first.  Otherwise with his talent (ignoring all else) he would have already been signed big.

I wish we would just pony up the extra mil or two to sign Murray

Yes.

Im sure they already did that. Seems like he wants 10 mill or more and we've got him about 8-9 and he won't budge. Lets use that money on a couple more free agents.

Of course, and I think that's warranted. But if they don't find any issues, I don't think there should be outrage over signing him as he hasn't been found guilty of anything.

I've heard the whispers but nothing as "loud" as Jax, Oak, Dal.  So I'm not sure how serious to take the Eagles talk.  You sure it's that strong?

I'm willing to bet that our offer is probably the highest he's gotten so far. I agree with Pirk that he seems to be holding out for something that's just not there.

I'm way ahead of ya, bud. Eagles are back on market even after signing Mathews.

Sod him to be honest. Only want people here who want to be. It would have been a good fit for him, but let him end up back in Dallas or heaven forbid at Oakland

I think it's stronger than Jax right now.

WR makes sense now because Caldwell said they are looking like slot guy. I can definitely see them taking Cooper!

LOL... I just got the update from CBSsportsline.  Makes no sense, but then... nothing Kelly has done makes sense.  Unless he wants to be Spurrier II.
