DC's best move so far...

The deal is essentially a 3-year deal. They'll cut if him he's done at the age of 30, which is THE # for running backs.

If you think Murray has a fumbling issue, take a look at Denard. If you think Murray has trouble staying healthy, take a look at Toby. This position is far from solved.

lol It's not like he didn't try to sign Murray.

Murray turned us down.

He "turned us down" because Dave set a limit and wasn't going to go over it.

Huh

Yea but the OP made it seem like Dave was a genius for not signing Murray. DC wanted Murray.

would have had to pay north of 9M probably. Thats insane for a RB like Demarco. (heavily used, injury prone, 3 years left)

He literally wasn't even getting touched until he was 3 yards past the line of scrimmage.

Sorry to rain on this parade, but DC's best move is still getting anything for Blaine Gabbert.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I personally think this is a good move.  Don't over pay for someone that you will most likely draft.  Look at MOJO dude is 29 and retired because his body is trashed.

I think it will prove to be one of the best FA signings in the last decade....by miles.

2012 - 1,214 yards - 4.7 YPC

and only 1 time did he have over 300 carries and that was in 2006...

Demarco just ran for 392 and had 57 catches....

Not paying 9mil for that production (if Murray were able to resemble Gore's production).

Give me a back that can average 4.5 yards or more year in year out. Like FREDDY!

We tried and stuck to our guns in the process and I have no problem with that. Didn't drob keep pace with Demarco for like a 3 week stretch? Kids got potential and If we can get a good back to compliment him we might see production at the running back position.
