Quote:If I spent 22 minutes on the Colts sideline, I would feel deflated too. You'd think his forehead would have deflated some in all that time!!!

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Maybe for every year in the NFL, his forehead grows an inch.. Sorta like rings in the base of a tree..
Quote:You must not be aware. Lol. There isnt going to be anything from this. But soo many smart people in this thread had all the "facts" already. I figured Tom Brady and Belichick would be in jail by now with such a clear-cut case. Speaking of those "smart" people, they seem to have abandoned the thread ![]()
Guess its hard to pile on when the facts don't support the accusations.

The Patriots seriously are the evils villans of the game. Bad guys never win doesnt apply to this organization. Ive never seen a franchise cheat so much, get caught and still act like its nothing. Thats how i know Goodell and Kraft has something in on each other.
If you think I offended you, don't worry, I meant to. #facts

Quote:That's false. Do some research. They filmed live games...And practices. Alleged. Quote:That's false. Do some research. They filmed live games... Technically, they filmed signals from live games. Signals that tens of thousands in attendance could see and could have taped as well. Not saying it wasn't against the rules, but that what they were after was in plain sight, just as their videotaping was.
"You do your own thing in your own time. You should be proud."
Let's not give NE a pass just because they video taped a game which was available to the public. The fact of the matter is that their actions were a calculated effort to gain an unfair advantage. The league reviewed the incident and gave Belichick and NE major fines, not a simple slap on the wrist. So the NFL thought that their actions warranted major discipline, end of discussion.
"The New England Patriots were disciplined by the league for videotaping New York Jets ' defensive coaches' signals during a September 9, 2007 game. Videotaping opposing coaches is not illegal in the NFL but there are designated areas allowed by the league to do such taping. The Patriots were videotaping the Jets' coaches from their own sideline which is not allowed. The act was deemed by <a class="" href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_Commissioner' title="NFL Commissioner">NFL Commissioner </a> Roger Goodell to be in violation of league rules, causing him to say when penalizing the Patriots that this episode represents a calculated and deliberate attempt to avoid long-standing rules designed to encourage fair play and promote honest competition on the playing field. After an investigation, the NFL fined Patriots head coach Bill Belichick $ 500,000 (the maximum allowed by the league and the largest fine ever imposed on a coach in the league's 87-year history) for his role in the incident, fined the Patriots $250,000, and docked the team their original first-round selection in the <a class="" href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_NFL_Draft' title="2008 NFL Draft">2008 NFL Draft </a> which would have been the 31st pick of the draft. [3] The fine garnered significant media attention for being the "maximum amount" an individual could be fined." - Wikipedia
No one has given New England any passes on the taping. If anything people have flogged them unmercifully for it since 2007.
What you do have is people starting to finally realize 1) How bad Goodell actually is for the game (not for the owners - he makes them tons of $$$, but for the game itself) 2) Some are actually starting to put the taping into the proper context - at least those who can see thru the "morality smokescreen" that has propagated since the taping controversy. New England and Belichick broke the rules. They stood up, made their apologies, and stopped the practice. But that's not good enough for the "rabble rabble Patriot Cheaters crowd". Their hatred still runs deep due to the Patriots continued success, just look around, you will see it festering still in all corners of NFL fandom.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
Ian Rapoport: Wells report says it is “more probable than not” that the locker room attendant, equipment assistant & Tom Brady was aware of releasing air
