It's been 25 years or so, and I know that they've cut way back on their signage so it may not even exist any longer. But I had a friend that was in Canada (New Brunswick to be exact) on vacation and when he hit the beginning of I95 in Maine there was a sign that said, "Pedro says, you're only 1196 miles from South of the Border."

When I was in the Service, there was a guy who lived in the North Carolina town right on the 95 corridor. He told me that pretty much the entire town hated that establishment due to the man never doing any kind of real maintenance on his place and just looking to expand and advertise.

I can't even imagine how low on gas I would have to be to stop in that joint.

Before I lived in Florida, I stopped there once out of sheer curiosity. Never bought anything. Never stopped again.

1984.. One of the best albums ever made.. I saw VH live in Miami when I was a kid.. Huge fan.. Was always a DLR fan and then Sammy came along and it was decent, but it wasn't the same without DLR.. Just saw VH perform on Jimmy Kimmel. Really took me back.. He may have lost quite a few steps over the years and doesn't sound as youthful anymore, but I'm still a fan and enjoyed the show..
