I honestly wouldn't be saddened if we picked Clowney and got another QB later in the draft. Teddy Bridgewater has the highest chance to succeed but it doesn't mean the rest can't.

Unless a team gets Bridgewater head of us, you gotta go with the best qb available. I see what people see in Mariota but, I don't draft on "potential" I draft for who gives us the best chance to win.

Too spindly. An NFL QB is built like a tank. Arm is suspect. All the throws are short to medium across the middle. Locks onto receivers all the time. Smells like a system QB taught to perform system tasks. Level of competition is also a concern.

2) Teddy can make all the throws.  Don't know how that means his arm is suspect.

 

3) I'm willing to bet that not all of his throws are across the middle.

 

4) Saying he locks onto his receivers all the time gives me the impression that you've either never seen him play or you're just trolling.  Arguably his best quality is making reads and going through his progressions in the pocket.

 

5) Level of competition is irrelevant.  No college football defense can compare to an NFL defense.  So playing in the SEC or the AAC makes no difference.

I give up on the NFL. It is clear that Schiano and the Glazers are 100% commited to going 0-16 and with a likely weaker SoS they will take the future GOAT QB Teddy Bridgewater.

 

I know....the horrible drives late in the 4th QB and the two 30 yard punts make it so obvious that they were trying to give that game away.

Here's hoping Goodell gets the refs to hand the Buccaneers a game.  It's gotta happen sooner or later.  He can't let Jacksonville go another year without a QB, especially when we'll be playing a game in London for a while.  I'm betting they'll beat the Falcons at home in two weeks.  And then Schiano will be fired after they lose to the Lions, and the Buccaneers will win a few more games probably.

I'm not picking on anyone in particular so don't go postal on me. It's just a little annoying when someone wants to take a few comparisons of great QB's and say that TB has those same abilities. "You don't draft on potential" doesn't mean you don't draft on any potential.  It means that you don't draft based on skills that have potential.  You draft based on skills you already see.  See: Blaine Gabbert.

You are complete moron, when you draft for the NFL especially when your a #1 or #2 pick and you need a qb, you draft to bring in the best qb who not only has a high ceiling (which Bridgewater does) BUT has the capability of winning games now (which by all measurements Bridgewater can do).
