Jags could make another surprise pick at No. 3

#1

"I think the third spot could shock people [again]," the personnel man said, referring to Jacksonville. "I think they like [Amari] Cooper more than they are letting on. You hear things and they have been pretty good about what's getting out there. It's a lot like it was last year."

I think it's all trade bait. Trying to see what teams will bite in case we do take him or any of the DE's; or Mariota if he's there. Who knows? lol

GO JAGS!!
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

IMO, you would basically be spitting in bortles face by drafting a qb, why bring a distraction like that to j-ville? Secondly, if it goes: Winston, Marriota, we HAVE to take williams. If it goes winston/marriota, williams, then you get your wide receiver. I dont see trading back as an option. There are very few day one starters in the positions we need. You take a day 1 starter at 3 no matter what.
All I need is Jaguars football and my dogs

Mariota is good in space which is why I am shocked Chip Kelly isnt making more of a push for him.

I would be ok with Cooper as the pick, we get another weapon for Blake and I honestly think our defense is ok...only reason we stayed semi competitive in our games last season was because of the defense...

I really doubt we pick cooper at 3. Trade down maybe. Major smoke screen by Caldwell and brilliant one at that if it works.

We didn't hear squat last year, except what was self generated vapor facts.

This year is no different than last year other than the fact don't play poker with Caldwell.

Hell, Dave didn't even tell his wife until about two days before the draft if I am remembering correctly. I kinda doubt that he's putting out info this time around.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

He's not putting out any information. This is pure speculation from some unnamed personnel exec who knows Dave's plans about as well as some random poster on this board would.

Maybe to folks not up on current events, still in denial that we need a #1 WR, or have fallen in love with one of the tweeners.
