2015 Draft Twitter Thread

Quote:I think the tweet about the Jags contacting Fowler for his number is [BAD WORD REMOVED] and a smokescreen to get Titans to draft him at 2 or someone to trade up to get him. I don't think the Jags want Titans to land a mega deal that will land them multiple 1st round picks. We are ahead of the Titans in our division looking at just rosters. Also 2 1st round picks for them would make them better if they have a good draft. I don't like the idea of them trading down. I don't care if they take Williams or Fowler @ 2. Gives us leverage to trade down.

This. The cooper talk I think was smoke to pull interest to pick him before Oakland. I seriously hope Tennessee takes mariota so our defense can manhandle him twice a year. I don't want them to get a huge trade and I'd prefer them to not take Williams either lol. Can't wait for this to get started.

Conclusion I have drawn: if you had the 79 Steelers with Blaine Gabbert as the QB, and you had the #1 pick and could take a 5 year in Terry Bradshaw, you'd still have 1/2 the fans saying TRADE DOWN.

For this to be true that would require the Jags and Fowler to be in cahoots with each other. I'm pretty sure the conversation wasn't "Hey Fowler, what's the best number to reach you at, and oh by the way, make sure you tell the media we asked for your number too....".

If he is innocent he's definitely not helping himself.

It looks like the Eagles has half the team on the trading block in an attempt to secure more picks to move up for Mariota. The short list includes Mychal Kendricks, Evan Mathis, and Brandon Boykin.

I'd take Mathis if we were a few pieces away from a Championship...

Eagles are confusing me.

Chip Kelly is confusing. But I must say has made the offseason very entertaining as a Jags fan. He's unknowingly quickly writing a "what not to" guide when it comes to building a team.

We may actually see a 3 way trade come tomorrow between the tacks, Eagles, and Browns. And its possible it may backfire on all parties involved.

Tweet from Dane Brugler (@dpbrugler) - Yep. Several teams don't have Kikaha on the draft board... https://twitter.com/RossJonesFOX/status/593565623399026688

(Citing previous injury concerns)

If he falls I hope the Jags are there to catch him mid-descend. He would make the perfect OTTO.

Why does Chip Kelly even make the personnel decisions? Isn't their a GM for that or they work hand in hand.

He basically forced the GM out. Its an ego thing.

Chip's the de facto GM. He has all the personnel control in Phily.

Agreed! It's fun to watch it from the outside looking in. Though I'm just hoping he doesn't do something too ridiculous and end up giving the tacks some great pieces in a trade up for Mariota.

Yeah but somehow it got out to the public somehow. So maybe the Jags want the word to be out that they want Fowler or Cooper but really someone else is the pick. Lets see we are 20 hours away. Imma sleep off 8 lol and the 12 ill be anxious!

Because Fowler himself said it while talking to Brent Martineau.

I'm sure he will want to speak with a lawyer before going to talk to the police, even if you are innocent you dont just go talking to the police with out council, def not in a murder case your that close to.
