People said that about Jimbo. FSU fans wanted him fired, and now all of a sudden he is Saban.

Have to 2nd bigjohn. Need to get your facts straight. What I did hear was the Jimbo needs to focus on coaching and allow his offensive coordinator to call plays. I was not hearing at all that Nole Nation wanted him fired.. He has been a recruiting machine and our team has played better since he started. You could just say you don't know what in the hell you are talking about. Now that would have been accurate.

I hope they sign him to a lifetime contract.    He's turned them into a Big 10 Univ. from the 1970's...LOL.  The problem is------ it's 2013.

Maybe so but Miami isn't much better. If Florida kicks field goals in the Miami game instead of turning the ball over constantly in the red zone, they would have won fairly easily.

I agree that Florida is actually a better team than Miami. They just beat themselves that game although they dominated in yards gained.

Didnt they beat FSU quite easily last year? What does that say about FSU's staff?

They are having a down year, but they basically have no QB and were playing really well defensively until a key injury. They just need to recruit a good QB and some better WRs and the rest should fall into place.

There are more who wanted him fired then some will let on. No one will admit that now though.

Yes and I'm sure there is some Alabama fan somewhere who wants Saban fired. What you said was not an accurate reflection of how FSU fans feel about Jimbo which makes what you said completely irrelevant.

Completely disagree. Fans were saying he should let go of OC duties, not get fired. Again, not accurate.

Quite accurate. Most of my nole friends wanted him gone after the 2nd year with 4 losses and finishing 2nd in their half of the ACC.

While I wasnt excited about Jimbo mainly from how the school pushed Bowden out the majority of KNOWLEDGEABLE FSU fans did not want him fired, and knew it was going to be a long process of changing the team's offensive and defensive philosophies.

If you can name some websites that would help.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

Then either your Nole friends are bandwagoners, radical, or un-knowledgeable.

Are we allowed to throw Booker T Washington HS into the mix?  They are #1 in the country and will ease their way through the Class 4A playoffs.

I got the following:

1 - FSU

2 -  U

3 - UCF

4 - USF

5 - Booker T Washington

6 - UF
