I can't even handle how dumb some people are on this watch any of his games!!! Strong at point of attack = Strong upper and lower body hence the 260+ pounds. Low sack numbers due to how he was used at florida (everywhere on the field) he has so many skills to a fault they they couldn't keep him at just one spot. Most violent relentless player in the draft. Never quits on plays has the second best get off of any player in the draft. but is much bigger than any other leo. sets the edge, can play three downs, and can be moved on third to any position Helps put more rush packages together on third downs. Ummm... a negative.... he may hit the Qb to hard and get a penalty (which I'm 100% ok with)

He is a good counter to Luck, Mariota, Mallet/Hoyer? I think we'll all feel better after tomorrow's picks. Dave hinted at moves in previous interviews that will be our money round. I think Collins and Tyler Lockett could be good picks for us. We could take whatever running back falls between Ajayi, Johnson, Abdullah, Johnson, Yeldon.

No pain, no gain.

He would have had more picks if they hadn't used him all over the field. Staying in one place will increase his sack totals.

Welcome to Duuuuvvvvvaaaallllll Dante!

A brilliant pick, at a position of need. Given our scheme and his talent and work ethic he's going to be an incredible player for us. No off the field or injury red flags, and a player who really wanted to come here.

Not sure how anyone can complain. He'll get 12+ sacks this year and be named DPOY. You heard it here first.

Alot of people worried about points scoring (and so they should). But if Bortles (mainly) and our WR's improve as they should, plus the additions or Thomas, Parnell and Wiz we should see massive improvement in that area. Realistically though it all boils down to Bortles. As New England and Seattle have proven, you dont need amazing superstar receivers to have success.

I think we'll need to pick up one of the backs in the second or third and probably a slot receiver aswell

How is he great? When he has less sacks than Gregory, Beasley? Explain where do you see great in Dante fowler?

Ok you know what I'm going to laugh at when Marcus Mariota ( who runs 4.5) runs past the great Dante Fowler ( who runs 4.6) and scores. Oh and let's not notice the brilliant pick Indy made bring in Phillip Dorsett who runs 4.2 teaming him with another Blazer TY Hilton. Let's all enjoy the 30 point beat down the colts are going to give us this year.

The old "they-didn't-pick-my-guy-so-the-guy-they-got-is-a-bust" logic is not going to fly. Here's an article spelling out how it's really going down:

Nice article.I like this part:

Almost immediately after the Fowler selection was announced, Bradley got a text from Carroll: "Awesome pick, Gus!" Caldwell received similar messages from colleagues around the league, one of whom texted, "You just got the best player in the draft."

These are the type of comments that crack me up the most. Not a single person on this board, or anywhere else for that matter, knows who got 'the best player' at this point.
