Gary Kubiak collapses after first half

#21

NFL.com saying it was a mini-stroke. Should be fine.

Can't provide link, sorry. But it's there for those that want to check it out.

I went to the Texans board to see if fans of the team coached by Kubiak know more than we do and offer my support, expecting to see a multipage thread about him. Would you believe their thread is  shorter than this one? They seem to think losing the game is more important than losing the coach.

You can read the above post above yours or NFL.com...? We may never know what happened!!!

Thanks for the info.

It's probably good news under the circumstance.    Yet,   Gary Kubiak likely is going to have to alter at least part of his lifestyle to significantly reduce risk factors moving forward.

Thanks for adding the link.

Yes, it probably is good news. It definitely could have been a lot worse. He should consider himself lucky that it was that minor(as of now).

It gets worse if you read it. This is from the Texans' Board:

Quote:

Is it possible that Kubes faked a heart attack so he wouldn't have to answer post game questions about the 2nd half collapse he knew was coming? Get well Kubes.

I saw that one. Why would a Texans fan of all people say something like that?

I also never understood why so many Texans fans call him Kubes. How hard can it be to spell out Kubiak?

Probably the same reason we seem to shorten the names of every person related to this team. I suppose we at least cut out more than a single letter in the process.

That is a million dollar question, JW.

Edit: I always pronounce it JayDubaya in my head.

Update: Gary Kubiak is out of the hospital and issued a statement through the team.
