Welcome to the Jaguars! Fowler

#61

Love the pick. We got my guy. Now let's go get Randy Gregory tonight. Imagine a defense lead by Dante Fowler Jr, Randy Gregory, Sen'Derrick Marks, Telvin Smith, Aaron Colvin, Demetrius McCray, and Jared Odrick.

Quote:Not a fan of this pick,,, don't think he fits our team well because he is not a good edge rusher... But he is now a jaguar, I have no choice but to get behind him and hope for the best.

Lmao what ? Do you know anything about "our team" ? Fowler Jr is the epitome of the Jags defense.

People like points and style. But defense wins games. And that pick last night was for wins people. "WINS"

If you think I offended you, don't worry, I meant to. #facts

Quote:I'm happy with the pick, but not overly excited. We've been let down so many times by 'the next great thing' on defense... so while I'm okay with this pick, I'm going to wait until I see what he does on the field as a pro before I get too excited about it.

This is a reasonable opinion... based on our first round history, every pick has a fear of busting....

But man, the guy sure looks beast on film!

Williams slipped to 6 for a reason.

All Fowler has to do is outplay Williams in his rookie season and all the negative talk will go away.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I normally ignore slapdick posts, but I am guessing that you are one of the guys that criticizes anyone else for having an opinion other than what the team makes.. You probably would have been saying the same things to people who didn't agree with Caldwell had we picked Williams, cooper, or Beasley... And you were probably one of the ones we were saying "well at least we got a guaranteed contributor" when we drafted a punter in the third round..

Really all of you who bash others for having an opinion other than management and then whine about how difficult our fans are on a message board are quite comical.... You do realize we have been terrible for almost a full decade now.... I think if we didn't have some complaining fans that questioned any of our managements decisions, that would be a sign of a terrible apathetic fanbase...

I mean [BLEEP] I even said in the very same quote you used that I was going to support the guy as a jag now that he was selected!! What more do you want?

Do I have to suck his ***** too?!

Quote:Ok you know what I'm going to laugh at when Marcus Mariota ( who runs 4.5) runs past the great Dante Fowler ( who runs 4.6) and scores. Oh and let's not notice the brilliant pick Indy made bring in Phillip Dorsett who runs 4.2 teaming him with another Blazer TY Hilton. Let's all enjoy the 30 point beat down the colts are going to give us this year.

We should've drafted Dorsett at 3 to prevent Indy from getting him, amirite?!?

Mariota and Dorsett in the same division? Make it stop!!!

someone is feeling feisty....

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I love the pick.  They are putting together a nifty little defense with A LOT of speed.  Colvin, Telvin Smith, Fowler.  Fast athletic guys that are the building blocks of the future of this defense.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
