i was thinking this same thing but there seems to be some chatter that people inside the NFL thinks he has a problem like josh gordon and there is no point taking a risk that high on a situation like that.

Hey, if you want to throw away a second round pick go ahead. Really though we have Fowler and some other situational pass rushers already on roster go get something else we need.

Cmon at 36 we debated him in mid first.....thats why you play the game . Yea bit risky but poss big reward.

So The NFLN said his agent was in damage control after the failed drug test and set up 15 team meetings which ended up being a disaster. He was 90 mins late to the NO meeting and was a no show for another meeting.

Shane ray pretty much showed how a team is willing to look past one incident for a top talent. He's just as talented and still out there so that shows that it's several issues or some awful character flaws.
