2nd Round Pick 36 TJ Yeldon

Quote:I wouldn't mind being proven wrong about this selection. We might well be Think he may have got lost in a stacked class at rb I'll be the first to admit I watched nothing on him We show less advertisements to registered users. Gene Smith took the guy he thought was better. So did Shack. If you're going to use the argument of "well they picked the best guy on their board" then we might as well shut down this board since there's no reason to discuss anything. Quote:Of course he would draft prospects from ITT Tech and whatnot...That statement was dead wrong, Almost all of Dave picks were praised around the NFL, none of Gene picks were

Hilarious that all the experts love the Yeldon pick, and people on here are finding reason to hate it. Same happened yesterday with Fowler.
Rediculous Quote:Hilarious that all the experts love the Yeldon pick, and people on here are finding reason to hate it. Quote:I like how Caldwell's pick don't follow the draftnik norm. It lets me know he's doing his own research and homework on the players and not just relying on heresay like most of us do. Eh, you know you could have said this about Gene Smith....
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Y'all really sleeping on Yeldon? Wait till he hits the field. Dude is a good back and and good pair with Denard.
I was thinking TE Maxx. There is alot of talent in the RBs in the draft, could've gotten one just as good later and not pay big for him. You have to help take attention off of Thomas with someone on the otherside. Or we just got him for nothing. Very upset with a wasted 2nd round pick. Bust....

This pick clearly shows that I have very little draft knowledge. Bradley and his staff have been working this stuff through for months.
I would have preferred to not pick up a rb. But again, what do I know... Thanks to everyone that has posted film on yeldon. He looks like he's got talent. If he fixes our running game, we're in good shape. But as a second round pick he must be a solid starter almost immediately
TJ did more in 3 years at ' Bama than Freddie T. did at Florida in 4.
Not hating on Freddie...he's my fav all time Jag, but that's the level of talent we just drafted. Plus he's from the SEC......tired of seeing our best down south going other places.
Because Jaguars is our mantra

I remember hearing things about Yeldon being compared to Le'Veon Bell and his versatility. I also remember thinking it would be sweet if we got him. I don't care if it's a 2nd round pick as long as he plays well. He will need to play a lot better than Cyprien has.
