I like Hardy but if we draft a WR he needs to be able to win outside and in the slot. And i question his ability yo win on the outside in the NFL
Stefon Diggs is a better player than draft position would dictate at this point, Also a true FS would be nice to come in and compete

Deandre Smelter.

Hardy's future is definantly in the slot.... Worked with him a bit at east carolina a couple years ago.. He has instincts, ball skills, and large hands very comparable to successful slot receivers Amendola, and Detron Lewis.
He does have a thin lower body,, and is more short space elusive than fast.... But he is a very good player,, catches everything in sight,, blocks very very well.... Former walk on who worked his [BLEEP] off to break receiving records... Really would not object to him in the 4th, but was wondering who other people valued at 4and5 picks We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Deandre Smelter. Seems obvious but a possibility. I liked the team video from his visit here.
Guys I like in the 4th-5th round range
Vince Mayle, Tre McBride, Dezmin Lewis, Adrian Amos, Derron Smith, Darren Waller, Tony Lippett (as a CB)
Quote:Guys I like in the 4th-5th round range Amos is interesting. Is Josh Shaw still out there?
Wish we had more picks. I feel like we need a FS and another WR. With TJ Clemmings possibly available in the 4th, that would push a FS/WR prospect. Not sure that would be possible. Maybe Clemmings in the 4th, Smelter in the 5th, and hope that Holliman's softness and lack of physical ability causes him to drop to 6th

Quote:At what point does Paul Dawson offer too much value to pass on?Right there. Just got chosen by the Bengals.

I like Hardy, but I don't think he fits what Caldwell is looking for in the slot. Hardy is the 3rd down, stick moving type slot. The two players Caldwell pursued were the stretch the seam type slots.
Quote:I like Rashad Greene or Derron Smith in the 4th. I could see Greene being the pick tomorrow.

Your probably right,, shame because I really really like the kid, very quiet , no bs, works his tail off,, and is a complete receiver blocks, catches deep short and intermediate balls very well.
Jamison Crowder, WR- Duke. He's a better version of Ace Sanders, worth picking up in round 5.
