Reese Dismukes would also be good value if we wanted to continue to add depth to the oline

Quote:For some reason, O'Leary has always reminded me of the TE that used to run around and catch everything for Manning and the Colts....no idea why I can't remember his name.

A lot of the pundits out there compare O'Leary to a couple different players. Clark, Witten and Pitta are a few..

Bennett heck even Hollimon at this point would be good picks

Would be a good Otto candidate. Purely a downhill hitter with good leadership.

At least the compensatory picks should go quickly since you're not allowed to trade them.

Yes thank you. I dunno why they seem similar to me. Maybe because they are shorter guys with seemingly moderate athleticism that always found a way to get open and make catches to annoy me. I haven't compared their measurables or anything.

Here you go. Can't believe it took me so long to find Caldwell's next pick...

From the praise we are getting from the pundits, I have to say I am very happy with this draft. I don't know enough of these guys to really know who is a good pick outside of 2 rounds.

was looking at him earlier.

I like him as a developmental receiving TE.

A very poor man's Witten is the fairly easy comp to me.

So, I'm thinking...

1. Michael Bennett <--but if he's fallen this far, dude's probably going undrafted

2. Busta Anderson <--fell due to triceps injuries, but that'll get squared away. This guy is everything you want in a TE.

3. Derron Smith <--a highly rated FS in this draft

My prediction is Busta Anderson.

Keep in mind there are also a couple Centers on the board with a decent grade, but I'm not sure either would beat out Bowanko.

Makes sense because he's only started 19 games, however, for a guy with so few starts he's rather highly polished. And yes he's certainly more of a receiving TE, but he's not like one of the many TEs left who can't block. Per nfl.com...

While he needs to add more weight to his frame, Anderson shows the blocking fundamentals to be considered a legitimate combination tight end in the NFL

now that would be marcedes eventual replacement, certainly not oleary...

I watched him due to the wife being a USC fan.

Busta is a solid developmental TE that can sit and work on his skills behind Thomas and Lewis for a year. Do we need a center with Bowanko, Wiz, and apparent Cann?

Ifo, Bennett wouldn't be bad value despite the medical flags.

Also wouldn't mind mike hull here as well.

Dallas does like to draft/pick up the troubled players, that's for sure.

That's always a risk imo.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
